A "Tremendous" main event Upset, the "Raging Bull's" TKO Upset "Upset of the Night" and the 2 Upsets on Heavyweight Undercards;

Don King Productions presents on 7-7-07 "Fistic Fireworks" a Triple World Championship fight card, undefeated Travis Simms defending his WBA title against Joachim Alcine ranked #1 and mandatory challenger, in a Super Welterweight main event. Plus 2 more Championship fights, first for the IBF/ IBO Flyweight Championship, defending his titles the IBF and IBO Vic Darchinyan face once beaten Nonito Donaire, a NABF Super Flyweight Champion. The second is an IBF Batanweight Championship vacant title fight between Luis Perez the former IBF World Champion vs Genaro Garcia the former FECARBOX Champion. 3,897 boxing fans attended the "Fistic Fireworks", World Championship Boxing at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday July 7, the co feature main event televised live on Showtime Championship Boxing. Joachim "Ti Joa" Alcine (29-0-18 Ko's) of Montreal Canada and Undefeated No.1 Contender- NABA Champion won by a controversial decision defeating "Tremendous" Travis Simms (25-1-19 Ko's) dropping his undefeated record. Alcine had received a 1 point deduction for hitting on the break by referee Michael Ortega, and still remained up on the judges score cards, onto victory.

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire (18-1-10 Ko's) of the Philippines and NABF Super Flyweight Champion' 5th round stoppage and upset the once touted unstoppable Vic "The Rgaing Bull" Darchinyan (28-1-22 Ko's) of Sydney Australia and the Undefeated IBF World Champion.

Luis "El Demolder" Perez (25-1-15 Ko's of Managua Nicaragua and former IBF World Champion stopped Genaro "Poblanito" Garcia (35-6- 0 Ko's) of Puebla Mexico the former FECAR Champion, the referee called a halt to the bout early in a bout scheduled for 12 rounds. This fight could be the "Fight of the Year" said BWAA member, Sports analyst and writer the "Internet King of Boxing and MMA" Eddie Goldman.

The "Fistic Fight" exciting Under card, heavy under card Upsets

Cliff The Black Bull " Couser, (26-12-2-13 Ko's) of Las Vegas Nevada and NAMA North American Champion, in round 2, 42 seconds into the round, TKO'd, Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett (31-6-17 Ko's) of Queens New York in a Heavyweights attraction scheduled for 10 rounds. Cliff Couser had already cosmically dazed Monte Barrett with a punch that stunned him (Monte Barrett), sending him spiraling to the canvas, the fight was stopped in round 2 when Cliff Couser relentlessly with a straight right dropped Monte Barrett, to the canvas twister style again returning Barrett to the floor of the square ring.

Demetrice King (13-0-12 Ko's) of Flint Michigan, in a Heavy weight attraction stopped in round 6, Bermaine "B-Ware" Stiverne (12-1-12 Ko's) of Toronto Canada, and undefeated KO Artist. "B-Ware" shook "King" in round 1 knocking him to the canvas with a right, but in round 6, "King" threw a barrage of jabs and punches, while "B-Ware" held his body up on the ropes, so the referee stopped the fight, "B-Ware" immediately protested standing ready to fight, the fight was over, "B-Ware" threw no punches or jabs in retaliation for about 25 seconds.

Devon "The Great" Alexander (12-0-6 Ko's) of St Louis Missouri and undefeated young star, stopped 1 minute and 24 seconds into round 3, Marcus "Bad" Luck (8-15-1-3 Ko's) of Danville Virginia a slick southpaw, who kept falling to the ground in every round, the fight a Super Lightweight Attraction was scheduled fro 8 rounds.

Lamon Brewster and Wladimir Klitschko meets once again


Wladimir Klitschko (50-3-44 Ko's) defeated Lamon Brewster (33-5-20 K0's),in a rematch of their memorable first encounter three years ago. This will be Klitschko's third defense of the IBF title in 15 months and Brewster's first fight in more than one year.

The Ukranian heavyweight, battered Lamon Brewster, scoring a 6 round TKO, successfully defending his IBF and IBO titles. Klitschko who dominated the fight lost to Brewster three years ago. Lamon Brewsters trainer Buddy McGirt Sr., threw in the towel and referee Sam Williams called the fight.
