Boxing Is Dead?

Boxing Is Dead?

Boxing. The oldest sport. But also a dying sport. We need to have new blood on the promotional end along with putting an end to all these ABC titles-fights. Putting on better fights instead of the usual guarentee that the house fighter wins only type shows. Bring hip hop entertainment or even rock bands during the intermission. Secure more TV spots on any channel and do more build-up profiles like HBO used to do for the bigger fights so that this can attract more fans. Most fans don't even know these fighters, especially the up and comers . We need story lines for the fighters like The Chin Checkers or Andre Berto for example. These fighters need exposure, need publicists this I believe will help the sport.

UFC is doing all these things that boxing USED to do. That is why the demand for UFC is rising . As you grow your business in the sport and become the next Don King, I hope you will implement some of these ideas. God bless.
