The Roseland Ballroom will take on an international flair in an evening of Global Mayham as Muay Thai kickboxers from all over the world go at it in both amateur and professional bouts, including two World Boxing League title Fights and matches between the most sought-after female martial artists fighting today.

Muay Thai fighting is the nation's hottest fitness sensation and is heating up the Big Apple with championship matches featuring some of the world's toughest women and men, as well as lessons, training, and the popular "bouts between spouses" at the Five Points Fitness Academy, sponsor of Global Mayham XII.

Headlining the evening will be a match between two of the most famous professional women kickboxers in the world: Five Point's own Emily Bearden and Christine Toledo of Las Vegas. The ladies are fierce fighters and are set to show North America what real Muay Thai fighting is all about.
In an Intercontinental Super Middleweight Title Match, Sean Hinds of the United State will take on Russia's Sergey Kopachev. Also on the card will be Holland's Naoufal El-Hamchaoui vs. Shinichi "Condor" Oono of Japan in an Intercontinental Junior Middleweight Title Match.

"New York has become the national focal point for Muay Thai kickboxing, a martial art with origins in the ancient battlefield tactics of the Siamese, or Thai, army," explained Five Points gym co-owner Kevin McGrath. "The popularity of Muay Thai is exploding here in the city and nationwide with people enjoying its aggressive workouts, championship fights, and opportunities to go at it with a partner."
