On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman speaks with three-time U.S. national freestyle wrestling champion and now mixed martial arts fighter, King Mo Lawal (http://www.myspace.com/molawal). Mo made his successful fighting debut this past Sunday, September 28, defeating veteran Travis Wiuff in the first round by TKO with a ground-and-pound attack, at the Sengoku 5 show in Tokyo, Japan.

That fight can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4VvFbBa2iw.

In a lengthy discussion, we talk about Mo's entry into the world of mixed martial arts, his victorious first fight, his plans for the future, his criticisms of USA Wrestling and whether or not he will continue wrestling, his views on a number of upcoming major boxing fights, and more.

Also, No Holds Barred is available through iTunes at http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=150801513&s=143441.

The show is in MP3 format, so may take some time to download.

The No Holds Barred theme song is called "The Heist", by musician Ian Carpenter (http://iancarpenter.com/).

This fight, which could be a major step towards the crowning of a unified or even undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, will take place in Berlin, Germany, and be televised on Showtime in the U.S. and on RTL in Germany. We spoke with both Sam Peter and Vitali Klitschko at a recent news conference in New York before they both left for Germany.
