Irish-American fighters, John Duddy and Patrick Farrell will participate in local New Jersey St. Patrick’s Day parades this weekend to celebrate their Irish heritage and to promote their upcoming Friday, April 24th “Main Event Boxing Series” fights at Prudential Center in Newark.
The undefeated Duddy will participate in New Jersey’s oldest and biggest annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in West Orange, New Jersey on Sunday. He will ride in the spectacular parade, which begins at 12:00 pm, and then visit a number of local St. Patrick’s events.
Patrick Farrell will show his Irish spirit as part of Newark’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Friday, March 13. The parade route begins 1:00pm at Mulberry and Lafayette. Fans also can catch Patrick Farrell in Jersey City’s parade on Sunday at 12:30pm.
The Friday, April 24th boxing show will feature a spectacular night of boxing rich in Irish heritage! The show starts at 8 PM. In addition, beginning at 6 PM, there will be a huge Irish street festival right outside the arena featuring lots of Irish beer, food and music.
