Halquist Productions has finalized all bouts for “Battle at the Boat 86”.
Headlining the card is a ten round lightweight showdown between Fort Worth, TX’ Jose Hernandez and Kenyan Peter Oluoch. Both men fought tough competition and gave highly favored opponents all they can handle. Between Oluoch’s 9,000 mile journey to Tacoma and Hernandez’ insistence on fighting toe-to-toe, this match-up already has plenty of intrest.
Crowd favorite and retired Marine Nate Serrano, 3-1 (1 KO), of Yakima, WA looks to get back in the winners circle when he challenges 6’2 Nick Balestra in a six round welterweight contest. Serrano, the area’s most popular fighter, lost his most recent bout and will need to be on his A game to emerge victorious.
California native Lisette Medal, 5-1-1, and “Battle at the Boat” veteran Sarah Pucek, 4-1-1, meet in a five rounder, while highly touted Ray Lampkin Jr., Isaac Tadeo and William Fernandez all make their pro debuts in separate bouts.
Internationally known actor, radio show host and personality Danny Bonaduce is serving as the master of ceremonies throughout the evening.
Doors open at 6 pm and the first fight takes place at 7.
