THURSDAY AUGUST 22ND, “BROOKLYN BRAWL—BRAGGING RIGHTS” IS STACKED WITH CROSS CITY RIVALRIES THAT FOLLOW THE SPIRIT OF NEW YORK’S GOLDEN AGE OF BOXING‏

On Thursday night August 22nd at The Fight Factory Arena in Brooklyn, Dmitry Salita’s Star Of David Promotions presents “Brooklyn Brawl Bragging Rights”.
“”The show features fighters from different parts of New York that are fighting to climb up contender status.  With the return of world championship boxing to Brooklyn fan enthusiasm is at an all-time high.  The talent pool in New York is tremendous.  The goal for the series is for fighters to show their skills and connect with fans on a grass roots level.” said Salita.

The show lineup includes:
Undefeated Enver Hallili (3-0, 1 KO) of Bronx, NY will take on once defeated former Amateur standout Treysean Wiggins (3-1, 3 KO’s) of Newburgh, NY in a 6 round welterweight clash.  Undefeated Brooklyn's Glenford Nickey (2-0, 1 KO) will take on his toughest test to date when he takes on rugged Bronx contender Joshua Nieves (2-2, 2 KO’s) in a four round Super Featherweight clash.   Undefeated middleweight Brooklyn contender Pete Reyes (2-0, 1 KO) will tussle with Bronx veteran Juan Zapata (2-6-1, 1 KO) in a bout scheduled for four rounds.

A cross roads fights between cruiser weight Brooklyn resident Myron Kadyrov (3-2, 2 KO’s) and Armin Mrkanovic (6-2, 3 KO’s) of Queens is expected to produce fireworks in a bout scheduled for six rounds.

Welterweight pro debuters Mack Babb of Brooklyn and Java Sosa of the Bronx will both look to get their first pro win as they square off against one another in a 4 round bout.

Appearing in a four round  bout will be Brooklyn fan favorite Super Featherweight, Angel Garcia (5-2, 2 KO’s); ,Five-Time  Detroit Golden Gloves champion and Kronk Gym Super Middleweight Anthony Barnes (1-0, 1KO) will take on Joe Yeardon (2-4-2) of Berlin, New York in a  bout scheduled for four rounds;  Two-Time  golden gloves champion and Amateur standout Wessley Ferrer  of Brooklyn will be make his pro debut in a four round Lightweight bout; Featherweight Trevis Hall (3-1-1, 1 KO);  Golden Gloves champion Marco Suarez of the Bronx will all also make his pro debut in a four round Super Middleweight bout. 
Rounding out the show will be Rajiv "Badabing" Bhattacharya (9-0, 6 KO’s) of Brooklyn's Starret City Boxing Club looking to capture the New York State Welterweight title in an bout scheduled for eight rounds.

The show will feature a special musical performance by New York upcoming pop sensation Describe who will look to entertain the crowd with his soulful energy in a special live performance.

BRAGGING RIGHTS ON THE LINE IN BROOKLYN BRAWL ON THURSDAY AUGUST 22ND

Dmitry Salita’s Star of David Promotions, New York City’s newest boxing series returns to the Fight Factory Arena on Thursday night, August 22nd for an exciting night of professional boxing.
The "Bragging Rights" show is stacked with local talent and cross town rivalries between New York’s toughest contenders.
“We want to bring an old school feel to our shows”, said Salita.
“This is a grassroots series the way boxing used to be back in the day where fighters from all the different Burroughs of New York City would fight each other.  Those types of neighborhood rivalries always bring an extra excitement to the show and we have a card that is just that”
Scheduled to appear In the main event will be Rajiv Bhattacharya in an eight round bout that will be for the New York State Welterweight title.
Rajiv is the latest product of Brooklyn’s Starrett City Boxing Gym.
Bahattacharya of the United Kingdom and now residing in Stamford, Connecticut has a perfect record of 9-0 with six knockouts.
In a six round Cruiserweight bout, Brooklyn cruiser-weight Miron Kadirov (3-2, 2 KO’s) will fight Armin Markonovic (6-2, 3 KO’s) of Queens, NY.  Both are looking to climb up contender status and put on an impressive performance for New York City Fans.
Scheduled to appear will be Dinmukhamed Niyazov (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Staten Island will see action in a six round Jr. Welterweight.
Fan favorite Angel Garcia (5-2, 2 KO’s) of Brooklyn will see action in a six sound Super Featherweight bout.
In a four round Super Featherweight bout, Glenford Nickey (2-0, 1 KO) of Brooklyn battles Joshua Nieves (2-2, 2 KO’s) of Bronx, New York
In a four round Middleweight bout, Peter Reyes (2-0, 1 KO) of New York will tussle with Juan Zapata (2-6-1, 1 KO) of Bronx, NY

Also jumping into the ring will be four-time Detroit Golden Gloves champion and Kronk boxing gym product Anthony Barnes (1-0, 1 KO)  who’s looking to extend his undefeated streak in his New York City debut when he takes on Bakari (0-3) of Bridgeport, CT in a four round Light Heavyweight bout
In a four round Middleweight bout, Orin George (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Guyana takes on veteran Borngod Washington (3-15, 1 KO) of Queens, New York.
It will be Brooklyn against the Bronx as pro debuter’s Mack Budd takes on Jovan Sosa in a Welterweight bout

The Bragging Rights show will also feature a special musical performance by upcoming pop Sensation Describe who will look to entertain fight fans with a vibrant, energy-driven and rhythmic vibe through his pulsating and inspiring music.David Diamante, known as "The Voice of the Nets" will serve as the fight announcer.  Fight Fans will have a chance to enjoy an exciting night of boxing see contenders of today and champions of tomorrow in the exciting Brooklyn Brawl Bragging Rights, to take place Thursday August 22nd
