GH3 PROMOTIONS UNDEFEATED MIDDLEWEIGHT ANTOINE DOUGLAS & UNDEFEATED HEAVYWEIGHT DORSETT BARNWELL TO SEE ACTION ON MIKE TYSON PROMOTED CARD THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE TURNING STONE CASINO RESORT

Tomorrow Night at the Turning Stone Casino Resort it will be a historic night of boxing as legendary Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will promote his first show under his new company Iron Mike Promotions.

The show, which will be televised on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights is co-promoted with Greg Cohen Promotions; will feature two world title bouts.

In the main event, Argenis Mendez will defend the IBF Jr. Lightweight title against Arash Usmanee.
Usmanee is promoted byArash Usmanee.

On the undercard two members from Vito Mielnicki’s GH3 Promotions will be featured.
In a six round Middleweight bout, Antoine Douglas will take on Edgar Perez in a six round bout while Heavyweight Dorsett Barnwell will take on the veteran Marlon Hayes.
Douglas of Washington, DC has a record of 8-0 and is looking forward to his third appearance at the Turning Stone Casino Resort.

“Training has been great. I am ready as usual and I feel stronger that I ever have.”, said Douglas.
He does not know what to expect from Perez, who will bring in a record of 5-5 with 3 knockouts.
“I don’t know much on Perez. I saw a little footage and I know that he comes straight forward and is durable.”
Douglas is looking forward to competing in front of the iconic Tyson.
“I am excited to fight in front of Tyson. I cant wait to meet him. I plan for the victory as usual”
Barnwell (9-0, 4 KO’s) of Norfolk, Virginia is looking forward to getting his 10th victory.
“Camp was great. I am in tip-top shape and I feel great”
In Hayes (23-12 with 11 knockouts), Barnwell will be facing his most experienced foe by a wide margin.
“Hayes was a lighter weight. He has fought a lot between Middleweight and Light Heavyweight. I expect him to be active and throw a lot of punches. I am not expecting much power from him. I expect him to stay on the outside and survive”
Barnwell, looks to impress Tyson who will sitting ringside.
“Being a Heavyweight it’s a special thing. He is one of the all-time greats and was the total package. It will be great to perform in front of him”
Said promoter Vito Mielnicki, “Greg and I have been moving our young guys this year and we look forward to seeing Arash win the world title and we expect big wins from Dorsett and Antoine”

GH3 PROMOTIONS SIGNS UNDEFEATED HEAVYWEIGHT DANNY KELLY‏

Vito Mielnicki’s GH3 Promotions is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated Heavyweight Danny Kelly to a promotional contract.

Kelly of Washington, DC has a professional record of 4-0 with all of wins coming by knockout.

Kelly had a relatively brief but successful amateur career where he had about fifty fights and in that time. He placed 2^nd in the National Golden Gloves tournament; 3^rd in the Pan-American games and even traveled to China where he fought the 2008 Olympic Silver medal winner Zhang Zhilei.

“I am looking forward to fighting and getting my career off and running”, said the 22 year-old Kelly.

“I am friends with (Fellow GH3 Promotions fighter) Antoine Douglas and they are doing a great job keeping him busy and moving him”

Said Kelly’s trainer Darrell Brown, “”It is a great thing to sign with Vito and GH3 ad to give Danny this opportunity”

“Danny can box on the outside and really fight on the inside. He has good hand speed and very good feet”

Said GH3 Promotions Vito Mielnicki “Danny is a very good prospect and we are excited to sign him. He joins a great stable of fighters that we are assembling that includes Antoine Douglas, John Thompson, Jerry Odom and Dorsett Barnwell to name a few”

GH3 PROMOTIONS SIGNS FORMER AMATUER STANDOUT AND UNDEFEATED LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT JERRY ODOM‏

Vito Mielnicki’s GH3 Promotions is proud to announce the signing of undefeated Light Heavyweight prospect Jerry “The King’s Son” Odom to a promotional contract.

Odom of Washington, D.C was a prized amateur where he competed in the 2012 Olympic trials, 2012 Golden Gloves champion and 2012 National PAL tournament runner-up.

Since turning professional, Odom is 4-0 with all of his wins coming via first round knockout.

“I am very happy to sign with GH3”, said Odom.

“I am looking forward to getting my career on the move. I am expecting the best to come”

Odom has completed one semester of collage at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida where he majored in Media Communications.

“I will continue to go to school so after boxing I have something to fall back on”

Said GH3 Promotions Vito Mielnicki “Jerry is a terrific prospect and at age 20 years old, he has shown tremendous power already and we expect to be a world champion”.

Odom will make his debut under the GH3 Promotions Banner on September 13^th at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, New Jersey.

JOHN “APOLLO KIDD” THOMPSON READY FOR NATIONAL TELEVISION DEBUT THIS FRIDAY NIGHT ON SHO BOX PLUS ANTOINE DOUGLAS TO SEE ACTION ON UNDERCARD

This Friday night at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma undefeated Jr. Middleweight John “Apollo Kid” Thompson and undefeated Middleweight Antoine “Action” Douglas will be back in action in separate fights.

In the main event, undefeated Dierry Jean (24-0, 16 KO’s) will take on Cleotis Pendarvis in an IBF Jr. Welterweight Elimination bout.

Thompson and Douglas are promoted by Vito Mielnicki’s GH3 Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions.

Thompson (11-0, 4 KO’s) of Newark, NJ will take on fellow unbeaten Giovany Rodriguez of Puerto Rico in the eight round televised co-feature.

“All I know he is a southpaw and ranked number two in Puerto Rico”, said Thompson.

“I finally get to showcase my talent for television. This is a great opportunity”.

“I am very confident this win will boost my rankings and open up new doors”.

As for Douglas, he will take part in a scheduled six round bout against Coy Witt.

Douglas (6-0, 4 KO’s) of Washington, DC is one of the top Middleweight prospects in the United States.

“Camp has been great. I feel strong, fast and my weight is good”

Douglas doesn’t know much about Whitt but he feels that he will have a big performance on Friday.

“I have only seen one piece of footage on him and based on that, a knockout is the plan”

This will already be Douglas’ fifth fight of 2013.

“My team is doing their job and my only worry is boxing. After this win I will be back to fight on June 15^th.

Thompson and Douglas are managed by William Mielnicki.

MASINI CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC FOR FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS

On Friday night April 19^th in Atlantic City, NJ, ESPN’s Friday Night Fights be televising a great professional boxing card at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Somewhere on the eight bout card, manager Rich Masini will enter the ring alongside his undefeated Welterweight prospect Anthony “Juice” Young (7-0, 3 KO’s) for his eighth professional bout against Rafael Montalvo (2-3, 3 KO’s) of Puerto Rico.

“We are familiar with what Rafael brings to the table, we know he has power and he is a tough kid”, says Masini

“I am also real excited at the progress that “Juice” has made over the last eighteen months. Anthony is an extremely gifted athlete who is becoming a better and better fighter with each bout”

“Our entire team has great chemistry from head trainer Ray McCline and cutman Abdou Hassan as well as our promoters Vito Mielnicki’s GH3 Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions. We all work real well together. “Juice” has a great team around him and he is blessed with a great family at home as well. On Friday night, “Juice’s” fan base will show up in numbers in Atlantic City. “Juice” is an Atlantic City fighter with a passionate and diverse fan base. The entire Atlantic City area has seemingly adopted “Juice” as their next big prospect”

UNDEFEATED MIDDLEWEIGHT ANTOINE “ACTION” DOUGLAS SCORES SENSATIONAL 2ND ROUND STOPPAGE IN WHITEHALL, NEW YORK Plus Elite Heat’s Mielnicki and Salaam score wins in amateur bouts

Last night at the Whitehall Athletic Club, prized Middleweight prospect Antoine Douglas scored a spectacular 2^nd round stoppage over

Juan Zapata to raise his perfect mark to 6-0 with 4 knockouts.

Douglas of Washington, D.C dropped Zapata once in round one and two times in the 2^nd frame. Douglas worked the body throughout the fight and the body work set up the first two knockdowns. With Zapata’s hands guarding his body, Douglas came upstairs with a devastating left hook to drop Zapata completely out in the 2^nd frame.

“That’s the kind of performance we expect from Antoine”, said Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions who promote Douglas along with Greg Cohen Promotions.

“We are keeping Antoine active and he will be on the SHO Box undercard on May 10^th in Miami, Oklahoma”

On the amateur portion of the Pro-Am card, Vito Mielnicki Jr. of the Elite Heat Boxing Club won a three round decision over Sharif Danele in the 10 year old-75 lb division.

Mielnicki’s teammate on the Elite Heat Boxing Team, Zahir Salaam scored a decision win in the 9 year old-70 lb. division

Mielnicki and Salaam are trained by former world champion Buddy McGirt and Wali Moses at the Elite Heat Boxing Gym In Newark as well as the McGirt Training Facility in Nutley, New Jersey.

The Elite Heat Boxing team will be traveling to the Adidas Cup that will take place May 9^th-May 12^th in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada.
