(MOLINE, IL) – Fight champs gear up in Silver Star Clothing for the Adrenaline MMA II battle at the i Wireless Center in Moline, Illinois on December 11, 2008. The event will be broadcast LIVE on HDNet in 14 million homes, at 9 p.m. CST.
Adrenaline MMA II features a 10-card bout boasting some of the biggest names in MMA who will be sporting the Silver Star emblem both in and out of the ring. Silver Star Clothing will be worn proudly in seven of the fights between MMA superstars: Ben Rothwell, Michael Russow, Gabe Lemley, Ryan McGivern, Ramiro Hernandez, Jesse Lennox and Mike Ciesnolevicz, all have chosen to wear the Silver Star brand while pounding their way to victory.
The co-main event features heavyweight Ben Rothwell against Texas standout Chris Guillen in a battle of powerful standup fighters. Rothwell dominated the heavyweight division in the now-defunct International Fighting League and has finished all but two opponents en route to his 29 victories. Other fight highlights include a special bout, where Mike Russow, the headliner for the first Adrenaline MMA event, will put his 10-1 record on the line against Braden Bice of Philadelphia. Russow, a Chicago policeman, is close to breaking into the world top 10 heavyweight rankings.
