Serrano (17-0, 8 KOs), fighting out of Philadelphia, faces another stiff test in former New York State title-holder Abril (11-4-1, 6 KOs), of Rochester (NY). An impressive victory could propel Serrano into a regional title fight. Already ranked No. 11 by the World Boxing Association ("WBA), the talented 22-year-old is also rated in the top 10 by the NABF (#5), USBA (#6) NABO (#9) and WBA #15.

The headliner is a 10-round battle between undefeated 2008 U.S. Olympian Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (15-0, 10 KOs) and former USBA champion Derek "Pooh" Ennis (23-3-1, 13 KOs) for the vacant North American Boxing Organization ("NABO") junior middleweight title. Former World amateur champion Andrade - WBO #9, WBC & IBF #13 and WBA #15 - fights out of nearby Providence, while IBF #9 Ennis is from Philadelphia.

A strong undercard features past and future champions and contenders, as well as some of the most promising prospects on the East Coast.

Former USBA & NABO light welterweight champion "Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis (22-7-2, 10 KOs) returns against crowd-pleasing veteran Shaka Moore (11-16-3, 2 KOs), of Norwalk (CT), in what promises to be a very entertaining six-round bout.

A six-round super featherweight battle between East Hartford favorite Joseph "Chip" Perez (6-1, 2 KOs) and unbeaten Danny Valle (5-0, 3 KOs), who is also from the Bronx, is a match-up of two young prospects.

Also fighting on the undercard in separate four-round bouts is a pair of promising Connecticut boxers. New Haven super middleweight Charles Foster (1-0) tangles with Queens veteran Borngood Washington. Waterbury's gifted junior welterweight Jair Ramos (1-0) is also scheduled to appear on the card.
