In the main event of the Asylum Fight League card, Noah Faunca takes on Manny Cuevas for the Cruiserweight title. The co-feature will be for the Welterweight title as Mervin Rodriguez battles Craig Alexander.
Faunca, of Long Island is undefeated with a record of 5-0 comes from the Rich Franklin American Fighter Team. He is known as an aggressive fighter who never takes a backward step.
Cuevas is a Military officer who is a captain in the Army. This bout will be special for Cuevas as the New York native will be serving a tour in the Middle East after the fight. This Ju-Jitsu specialist like to dominate on the ground. Cuevas is also undefeated with a record of 4-0.
Rodriguez is from the Rob Guerino Rhino Fight Team. Several members of that team went on to have success in the UFC. Rodriguez is a talented young fighter who is tenacious. The Brick Township, New Jersey native has a record of 6-3.
Alexander is from the Tiger Schulman team and is coached by Dan Schulman. “The Ghost” as Alexander is called has one of the best amateur pedigrees and only wants to fight the best. The Elmwood, New Jersey native has a record of 5-0.
The action begins this Friday at 8pm and the event that will be originating from Fort Dix, New Jersey will be FREE of charge
