Foothill Ranch, Calif– iBN Sports, a premiere sports television network in conjunction with Cage Fashion and FOX Fight Game announced today the simulcast of a Mix Martial Arts (MMA) inspired fashion show over the Internet. The fashion show, the second this year, will air live on Friday, July 10, 2009. The exact location of the event is still to be determined at press time, but word has it that it will most likely be held at the trendy MIX restaurant atop the Hotel at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the site of the last event held back in February of this year. Doors are scheduled to open at 7pm, fashion show starts at 8:30pm and reception follows at 9pm with food and cocktails.
A prestigious roster of top mixed martial arts brands such as Bioworld, Guillotine, GT1775, Witness, and many more will be added and paired again to create a festive, high-fashion runway show appropriately called Cage Fashion. This show and red carpet event is the only mixed martial arts inspired fashion show that will be held the same day as UFC EXPO and will be a Pre Party for UFC 100. Models will wear mixed martial arts brands, styled by world famous Rodney E. Hall of Harper’s Bazaar and Cover. Mike Straka from Fox News Fight Game on Foxnews.com will be the commentator/host for the event. FOX Fight Game will broadcast Cage Fashion show live simultaneously with iBN Sports on www.ibnsports.com, the premier destination for live and on-demand sports over the Internet.
“The first show was well received with some of the biggest names in MMA partying atop the Las Vegas skyline,” said Sam Strayer, Producer of iBN Sports Fight Site. “This next show, which will be centered around the largest MMA event in history, will showcase fashion from the style and culture of the sport,” said Strayer. “Cage Fashion and Fox News Fight Game are the perfect partners to create an exciting venue that will be of interest to all fans,” concluded Strayer.
