Find A Dream’s Stars Invited As VIP Guests To ESPN’s Friday Night Fights

It was announced today that former boxing champions Ray Mercer and Bobby Czyz—Board Members of Find A Dream—have been invited as VIP guests to ESPN’s Friday Night Fights at Resorts Hotel Casino on July 27.

The renowned Resorts will be hosting ESPN’s acclaimed boxing series featuring the NABF Lightweight Title fight between Hank Lundy and Raymundo Beltran. Last month Resorts was all over the boxing map as they held the All Star Boxing Legends Gala Tribute Dinner, and continue to be recognized as the premier venue for fight sports in the Northeast.

Mercer and Czyz represented Find A Dream at the gala, and continue to remain active with their efforts of promoting awareness about the organization. Find A Dream is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that reaches out to community children and provides them a healthy channel to find and work towards fulfilling a dream.

“Resorts is a beautiful hotel and casino and is quickly establishing themselves as one of the most prevalent locations for boxing and MMA in Atlantic City,” said Rod Ricciardi, Founder of Find A Dream. “They go out of their way to help support Find A Dream and working towards achieving our mission, and we are honored to have our Board Members invited as VIP guests to ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.”

Three-Time World Champion Bobby Czyz To Attend All Star Boxing Legends Gala

♔EL Boxing Empress & MMA Princess♔, See you at the Fights and Thank You for your time.EL BBobby Czyz—former IBF Light Heavyweight champion, Cruiserweight champion, Super Cruiserweight champion and active Board Member of Find A Dream will be attending this years All Star Boxing Legends Gala this weekend at the acclaimed Resorts Hotel Casino I Atlantic City.

On Saturday a tribute dinner will take place within Resorts honoring boxers of the past and present, with several of the sport’s most prevalent names making an appearance. Czyz will be joined by Mike Tyson and several other boxing icons, including Find A Dream members Ray Mercer, Don Steele and Hector Camacho Jr.

“When I was a kid, it was my dream to fight at the grand stage of Atlantic City, and now being able to be part of the gala this weekend means a great deal to me,” said Czyz. “Every young person has a dream, and it’s a privilege to be connected to an organization such as this one to help those kids’ dreams materialize.”

Growing up Czyz faced much adversity, and it would’ve been easy for the three time world champion to lean towards a life of crime. But rather than falling into the elements, he made the decision to pursue boxing, and through hard work, determination and discipline, he became a sensation finishing his career with an impressive record of 44-8 with three title belts.

In 2012 Find A Dream is striving to continue to expand and impact the lives of children throughout various communities. Find A Dream plans to spread their word through boxing and MMA events, car shows, cook-offs, concerts and more in hopes of reaching out to communities and bringing awareness of the necessity to work towards enriching the lives of our youths.

Mr. Evans has shown a lot of early promise and his skills have been steadily sharpened but finding quality opponents in that weight class will be a real challenge for matchmaker Nick Tiberi. There will also be an all time show stopping WIBC 3 minute -10 round Title Fight featuring Lisa Noel Garland (9-6-0/5 ko’s) of York, SC vs Kita Watkins (7-8-0/1 ko’s) of Camden, AR . This will surely be an amazing fight, so do not miss it!!

The exciting undercard will be filled with action packed fighters led by heavyweight Joey “The Polish Thunder” Dawejko (6-0-1/2 ko’s) vs. Edwin Ranquillo (2-1/1 ko’s). At 5’10 – 235 pounds, the 21 year old Mr. Dawejko presents big problems for any opponent and any ring looks small when he steps through the ropes, however do not be so quick to judge this fight. Even though it appears Mr. Ranquillo does not have the ring experience, he does have the experience of serving our country.
