One of boxing’s biggest names, Mike Tyson, returns to HBO this Saturday with the network debut of HBO FILMS’ MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, the one-man stage show directed by legendary filmmaker Spike Lee.  The riveting and compelling film premieres SATURDAY, NOV. 16 (8:00 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT), followed by an all-new episode of 24/7 PACQUIAO/RIOS and a World Championship Boxing® super middleweight title showdown. 

In addition to starring in his eponymous special, Tyson will also serve as co-host with HBO broadcaster Jim Lampley for the network’s slate of entertainment and boxing programming on Saturday night.  The pair will introduce the evening’s programming lineup, with Tyson providing his inimitable candor.

Immediately following MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH will be the premiere of episode two of the HBO Sports’ all-access reality series 24/7 PACQUIAO/RIOS (9:30 p.m. ET/PT).  Then stay tuned for a stellar showdown when WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING: ANDRE WARD VS. EDWIN RODRIGUEZ is seen at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Cal.

Andre Ward (26-0, 14 KOs), one of the sport’s premier fighters, returns to the ring after more than a year versus fast-rising super middleweight challenger Edwin Rodriguez (24-0, 16 KOs), 28, of Worcester, Mass.  Lampley will be joined ringside by Max Kellerman and Roy Jones Jr. to call the bout, while Tyson will join with a guest interview appearance.

Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, filmed while the former #boxing champ performed his one-man show on Broadway, premieres on November 16th at 8PM. Only on HBO.

*HBO just released a new trailer for the premiere of “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” the Spike Lee-directed film version of the boxer’s one-man stage show.

In the clip, Tyson figures that he was arrested “over 38 times” by the time he was 12-years-old, dishes about infamous anger problems and takes a few mock swings.

The film is drawn from the Lee-produced show that Mike Tyson performed in Las Vegas, Broadway and on tour.

While a previously released teaser had set a serious tone, the new trailer showcases more humor. The clip trots out a memorable one-liner from the boxer: “I know many are probably wondering, what the hell is Mike Tyson going to do up here onstage here tonight — you know, frankly, I’m wondering the same thing.”

Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson has arrived Mexico City as a guest of the Mexico Tourism Board and the WBC. Iron Mike will attend a gala dinner and be an honorary tourism ambassador as part of a campaign to promote tourism to Mexico. His Broadway debut in MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, directed by Academy Award nominee Spike Lee, starts July 31 at the Longacre Theatre.

Spike Lee-directed one-man show now ends August 12

Mike Tyson and Spike Lee have the hottest ticket on Broadway. After announcing last week Lee will direct Tyson in his upcoming one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” fan response was immediate. To accommodate the demand for tickets, lead producer James L. Nederlander has announced that the show will extend its run with six additional shows.

Originally slated to run for a limited six-night engagement from July 31 to August 5, the show will now play through Sunday, August 12.

On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman presents the June 18 news conference in New York featuring former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, director Spike Lee, and producer James L. Nederlander to announce the opening of the show called "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth". This one-man, autobiographical show, featuring Mike Tyson and also marking the Broadway directorial debut for Lee, will run for a limited engagement from July 31 to August 5 at the Longacre Theater in Manhattan's Theater District. Two nonprofit organizations
joined forces for a March 20
New York City fundraiser to help
send Harriet's Heart on a missionary
trip to Kenya. Seven, of the nineteen,
young women of African-American,
Latina, and Caribbean decent, known as
"Harriet's Heart," are part of a four-year
effort that selects and guides girls into
womanhood -- helping young women
develop leadership and life skills, and
providing assistance with completing
high school, while helping families
with the money and other resources to
fund college.
Founder, Pamela Salaam Jaha,
gave birth to Harriet's Heart as a revitalization
of the principal, "it takes a
whole village," challenging corporations,
athletes, entertainers, professionals,
civic leaders, elected officials, and
ordinary people to be a part of the solution,
preparing leaders of tomorrow by
embracing the role of educating and
investing in our children today. "I
believe it is the responsibility of all of
us to lead our children and our communities
to social leadership, economic
strength, political promise, and academic
excellence! I know that ordinary people
can make a change, such is when
and how we become Extra-Ordinary,”
says Salaam, the proud surrogate mother
of 19 girls.

help support Harriet's Heart, an extraordinary
group of young women whose
name pays tribute to civil rights leader
Harriet Tubman. Each girl represents
one of Tubman's nineteen courageous
journeys on the Underground Railroad.

girls become successful, confident
women," said Naomi Silie, Esq., Commissioner,
The Bronx Democratic
Board of Elections who provided
remarks at Friday's fundraiser.

"The upcoming missionary trip will
offer a meaningful volunteer opportunity
that will help engage, empower and
educate the citizens of Africa by
improving the socio-cultural benefits
that change lives for the better."
The fundraiser was held on Friday,
March 20th at Katra located at 217
Bowery Street in New York City
brought together a "village" of professionals
from all fields and backgrounds
to help raise additional funds for the
mission - keeping Salaam's vision and

provided remarks, introduce Ms.
Alleyne and kicked off an impromptu
fundraising by passing a "collection
bucket" around during his address.
Each of the two nonprofit organizations
involved in the March 20
event will continue to serve those in
need despite the tough economy and a
drastic decline in volunteers and donations.
