Lamont Peterson Vs. Lucas Matthysse at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ for May 18

IBF JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION
LAMONT PETERSON AND WBC INTERIM SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT
WORLD CHAMPION LUCAS MATTHYSSE SET TO SQUARE OFF IN A
12-ROUND WELTERWEIGHT SHOWDOWN ON MAY 18 AT
BOARDWALK HALL IN ATLANTIC CITY

IBF WELTERWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION DEVON ALEXANDER
TO FACE UNDEFEATED KELL BROOK

SHOWTIME® TO TELEVISE LIVE FROM BOARDWALK HALL

World championship boxing returns to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday, May 18 with a SHOWTIME® CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING doubleheader featuring IBF Junior Welterweight World Champion Lamont Peterson facing hard-hitting WBC Interim Super Lightweight World Champion Lucas Matthysse in a 12-round welterweight bout and the rescheduled IBF Welterweight Title showdown between Two-Division World Champion Devon Alexander "The Great" and undefeated British star and number one rated IBF welterweight contender Kell "The Special One" Brook.

Peterson vs. Matthysse and Alexander vs. Brook are presented by Golden Boy Promotions, sponsored by Caesars Atlantic City, Corona and AT&T and will air live on SHOWTIME at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast). Preliminary fights will air live on SHOWTIME EXTREME® at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast).

After more than a year out of the ring, Lamont Peterson (31-1-1, 16 KO's) picked up where he left off in February, dazzling fans in his hometown of Washington, D.C. with an eighth-round technical knockout win over Kendall Holt. Coupled with his Fight of the Year win over the Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Amir Khan in December of 2011, it's clear that Peterson has staked his claim as one of the premier 140-pound fighters in the world. All of this is even more impressive when one considers that Peterson spent part of his youth homeless on the mean streets of Washington, D.C. On May 18, the talented boxer-puncher will put that recognition on the line against one of the most feared fighters in the sport at a catch-weight of 141 pounds.

The junior welterweight who has struck the most fear into the hearts of his peers, Trelew, Argentina's Lucas Matthysse (33-2, 31 KO's) bounced back from two controversial split decision losses to Zab Judah and Devon Alexander, each in his opponent's hometowns, to score five straight victories, with all of those wins coming by way of knockout. His losses to Alexander and Judah were so controversial, that many boxing insiders still consider Matthysse, who has recently been nicknamed "The Machine," to be undefeated. In his last three bouts, the 30-year-old has torn through stiff competition, defeating former Three-Division World Champion Humberto Soto, then number one rated WBC super lightweight contender Olusegun Ajose and tough contender Mike Dallas Jr., setting the stage for the thunderous punching WBC Interim Super Lightweight World Champion with a 94% knockout ratio to stake his claim as a one of the top ten best pound for pound fighters in the world.

A technical wizard with speed and finesse in the ring, St. Louis' Devon Alexander (24-1, 13 KO's) is a master boxer who has already won world titles in two divisions despite being only 25 years old. Alexander is the former IBF and WBC world title holder at 140 pounds, with wins over Lucas Matthysse, Juan Urango and Junior Witter to his name. In 2012, "The Great" made his move to welterweight and by the time he was finished defeating former World Champions Marcos Maidana and Randall Bailey, he was crowned the IBF Welterweight World Champion. On May 18, he makes the first defense of his new crown after two postponements of his originally scheduled showdown with Brook.

England's latest unbeaten sensation, the popular Kell Brook (29-0, 19 KO's) has mowed past all opposition placed in front of him over the last eight years. After winning the British WBO intercontinental and IBF international welterweight titles, he's ready for his close-up on the world stage. With 2012 wins over Matthew Hatton, Carson Jones and Hector Saldivia, the talented 26-year-old from Sheffield has proven he has the talent, style and determination to justify his number one rating.

"Once again, we're lookingforward to bringing a blockbuster fight to Brooklyn at Barclays Center," said Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions.  "Paulie Malignaggi is the type of fighter that is not going to let anyone take his belt from him on his home turf, but he has his work cut out for him against one of the most talented fighters in the sport in undefeated rising superstar Adrien 'The Problem' Broner.  Add in the rematch between Johnathon Banks and Seth Mitchell and it's safe to say that the fireworks will be flying a few weeks before the Fourth of July."

"All of us at the network are thrilled to have Adrien Broner in his SHOWTIME debut, especially in a tough fight against the very smart and crafty world champion Paulie Malignaggi," said Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President and General Manager, SHOWTIME Sports.  "When this fight first came available, I jumped at the chance to have it on SHOWTIME.  This fight was one of the most talked about match ups of the year before it was even announced."
One of Brooklyn's favorite fighting sons, Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO's) is a two-division world champion known for his lighting fast hands and even faster mouth. He first made his mark in the 140-pound weight class when he defeated Lovemore N'dou in 2007 for the IBF crown.  In 2010, Malignaggi made the move up to welterweight and in April 2012 he captured the WBA welterweight title, traveling to the Ukraine to stop Vyacheslav Senchenko in his hometown.  He has defended his belt once thus far, decisioning Pablo Cesar Cano at Barclays Center last October.  Also well known for his role as color commentator on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, the 32-year-old who has faced the likes of Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan and Juan Diaz, will look to stop the rise of Adrien Broner a few miles from his home in Brooklyn.
At 23 years old, Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO's) has captivated the boxing world with his work inside the ring and flashy charisma outside of it.  Unbeaten as a pro, with a skill set that allows him to box or bang, and possessing a warrior's attitude and heart, Broner won the WBO junior lightweight title in 2011 with a third round knockout of Vicente Martin Rodriguez.  After knockouts of Eloy Perez and Vicente Escobedo, he moved up to 135 pounds, winning the WBC title with a thoroughly dominating eighth round technical knockout of Antonio DeMarco last November.  Most recently, Broner stopped Gavin Rees in five rounds in February, and on June 22, he will make the leap from 135 to 147 pounds to challenge "The Magic Man."  Should he win, he will join Roberto Duran, Roy Jones Jr. and Robert Guerrero as the only fighters to win a world championship in their first fight after jumping a weight class.
The owner of one of boxing's most inspirational stories, Johnathon Banks (29-1-1, 19 KO's) captured the hearts of fight fans last fall.  Shortly after the death of his mentor and trainer, Emanuel Steward, Banks took over for the legendary Hall of Famer as the trainer of Heavyweight World Champion Wladimir Klitschko in his title defense win over Mariusz Wach in November.  A week later, the 30-year-old from Detroit stepped into the ring himself, and stunned the boxing world with his second round technical knockout win over Mitchell.  On June 22, he'll look to do it again.
Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell (25-1-1, 19 KO's) is eager for the opportunity to avenge his only pro loss when he faces Banks at the end of June.  A former standout Michigan State University linebacker, Mitchell tore through his opposition in the boxing ring for over four years, most notably beating Taurus Sykes, Timur Ibragimov, and Chazz Witherspoon, all by knockout.  Now he'll have to show the resilience of a champion as he attempts to even the score on June 22.
A full undercard will be announced shortly.

BROADWAY BOXING BACK AT BB KING BLUES CLUB WEDNESDAY MAY 15‏

On Wednesday, May 15th, DiBella Entertainment returns to BB King Blues Club in NYC for the latest edition of its Broadway Boxing series with an exciting nine-bout card featuring a number of DBE's top up-and-coming prospects.

Highlighting the card will be fast-rising, undefeated middleweight, Lamar Russ(12-0, 7KO's), fellow undefeated middleweight prospect Delen Parsley (10-0, 3KO's) and heavyweigh t contender Tor Hamer (19-2, 12KO's).  All three bouts are scheduled for eight rounds.
Russ joined the DBE roster late in 2012 and has yet to disappoint.  He holds stoppage victories over previously undefeated prospects Jonathan Cepeda 12-0, 11KO's (TKO-1) and Jose Alonzo 13-0, 7KO's (TKO-4) and is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision over Jose Medina (17-12-1, 7KO's) in his most recent outing which took place on January 23, at BB King Blues Club.
The Brooklyn-native Parsley is coming off a sensational 2nd round TKO over Tyrone Selders in his most recent outing, which like Russ also took place on January 23.  Parsley dropped Selders with a picture perfect right hand right as the bell sounded to end round one. Parsley was all over Selders in the 2nd, giving him an absolute beating and causing Selders to quit on his stool. The bout on the 15thwill be Parsley's 5th appearance at BB King Blues Club since turning pro in 2009.

Looking to bounce back from his disappointing loss to undefeated heavyweight contender Vyacheslav Glazkov and regain the momentum he had from winning the Prizefighter Tournament in 2012 will be the New York City native Hamer.  Hamer fought Glazkov back in December of last year in a bout that was aired live on NBC.  Hamer got off to a good start in the fight, but was unable to continue after the fourth round, citing a chest and head cold that he had been battling just a week before the fight that was compromising his breathing. Hamer hopes to bounce back with an impressive victory and put himself back into contender status.
Additional bouts, including opponents for Russ, Parsley and Hamer will be announced shortly.
The card is promoted by DiBella Entertainment (DBE) and sponsored by Manfredi Auto Group, Newlio.com, and Everlast.  The event will be broadcast on SNY tape-delayed.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. ET with the first bout scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

MAYHEM Holly Holm vs. Mary McGee IBA Junior Welterweight Championship Route 66 Casino Hotel ● Albuquerque, NM ● May 11, 2013

Queen of Boxing Holly Holm
Back in ring May 11 vs. Mary McGee
IBA world title fight at  Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque

Fresquez Productions held a press conference today to announce its next boxing event, "Mayhem," headlined by 14-time, three division world champion Holly "The Preachers Daughter" Holm (32-2-3, 9 KOs) - the recognized pound-for-pound Queen of Boxing - against challenger "Merciless" Mary McGee (20-1, 11 KOs) on Saturday night, May 11 at Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque.

"Mayhem," presented by Fresquez Productions in association with Route 66 Casino Hotel, will feature Holm defending her International Boxing Association (IBA) junior welterweight title in the 10-round main event against former NABC World lightweight titlist McGee, who fights out of Gary, Indiana.

"Holly Holm has repeatedly proven that she's the best pound-for-pound women's fighter in the world," promoter Lenny Fresquez said. "Mary McGee is a bright, talented boxer who earned this world title shot. She impressed us all last December in her fight on the Holm-Prazak card at Route 66 Casino Hotel. Unlike others that call-out Holly, only to break negotiations because they were never serious, Mary is stepping up to the plate like a real fighter."

The 31-year-old Holm (32-2-3, 9 KOs) has defeated a Who's Who list of woman boxers from the 140 through 154-pound weight classes, including Ann Sophie Mathis, Christy Martin, Mary Jo Sanders, Mia St. John, Jane Couch, Duda Yankovich and Chevelle Hallback (twice).

JI-HOON KIM READY FOR HERRERA CLASH‏

 CLASH‏

On Thursday night, May 2nd at the Omega Products Outdoor Events Center in Corona, California, former world lightweight title challenger Ji-Hoon Kim will be moving up in weight to take on Mauricio Herrera in the main event of a special edition of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.
The show, which will display a televised co-feature between Miguel Gonzalez and former world lightweight champion Miguel Acosta, is promoted by Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing.
For Kim (24-8, 18 KO’s), the move up in weight was three years in the making since his world title fight with Miguel Vasquez in 2010.
“I had problems making 135 dating back to the Vasquez fight in August of 2010. I decided to move to 140. But then I thought I would have some more opportunities at 135.” said Kim.
“After my last bout I knew it was time to move up.”
Kim isn’t picking on any soft touch in his Jr. Welterweight debut as he is taking on Herrera (18-3, 7 KO’s).
“Herrera is a very good boxer. He has speed and power. He will not be easy. Because I have trained very hard and we have studied his style, this is a great chance. I can’t lose this opportunity.”
Kim has been a staple on network television due to his exciting style where he almost always over 100 punches per round.
“All of the fighters that I fought are good fighters and have a great heart. That helps make action fights. I am always ready and in shape and I have never have had an easy opponent and nor do I want to fight an easy opponent. That raises my level when I know I have a tough fight. I love to train hard. This fight will be another action fight but you will see some differences.”
Kim looks to give his fans another great fight.
“I appreciate all my supporters. It means a lot that being from Korea where I have a lot of fans in my homeland, its extra special knowing that I have a lot of fans in America I will show a great performance and how hard I trained.”

Introducing Starpower Boxing!‏

When lifelong boxing fan and successful club promoter Michael Grace opened Starpower Boxing Management in 2013, his goal was to enhance the careers of talented fighters that have either been overlooked or misguided.

A self-professed boxing junkie, Grace’s personal relationships and time spent around the gyms in Cincinnati, OH helped him find a number of quality fighters that needed a push to get their careers going in the direction they expected upon turning pro. Currently, Grace has four fighters in his stable hailing from the Queen City.

Inactive since 2012 due to prior managerial issues, lightweight Mel “Black Diamond” Crossty is 5-0 as a professional. Many fight fans may not be aware of the soft-spoken 27-year-old yet, but those who’ve been around the sport have heard the name Mel Crossty for years. A successful amateur, Crossty is a sharp boxer who has been in training camps with Andre Ward, Devon Alexander, Sharif Bogere and Cincinnati’s very own Adrien Broner. Crossty spends time training in Cincinnati with Brandon Bush as well as Las Vegas with Floyd Mayweather Sr., who personally invited him to the famed Mayweather Boxing Gym.

Welterweight hopeful William “Action” Jackson brings a 10-1-1 record to the table with 5 wins by knockout. The popular 24-year-old fought all 12 of his bouts in Cincinnati, including a knockout victory over previously unbeaten Edward Ochoa, before promotional problems forced him out of action 1 ½ years ago. With Grace in his corner, Jackson will have the opportunity to get right back into the mix when he meets perennial contender Michael Clark in the main event of a card in Columbus, OH May 18.

As an amateur, 25-year-old super featherweight Jesse Carradine notched victories over notables Duran Caferro, Brandon Bennett, Walter Sarnoi and Archie Ray Marquez. Unfortunately, the paid ranks haven’t been as easy. A participant at the 2008 Olympic Trials, Carradine’s taken fights wherever he could find them, showcasing his skills in New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Ohio. His two defeats came against top level opponents in current world champion Evgeny Gradovich and unbeaten rising star Karl Dargan. His record stands at 8-2-1 with 4 victories by knockout.

Rounding out the Starpower stable is 24-year-old DeVonte Allen, 4-1-1 (3 KO’s). Like his new stablemates, Allen’s had issues out of his control and hasn’t fought since July.

Crossty, Carradine and Allen are also slated to fight on the 18th in Columbus.

“There are so many good fighters out there who don’t get a fair shake,” said Grace, whose built a close relationship with each of his boxers. Not everybody is going to be promoted the right way and get signed by Golden Boy or Top Rank off the bat. William, Mel, Jesse and DaVonte are all very good fighters. People who have been in the gym with them, and I’m talking quality fighters and top trainers, can vouch for these guys. I know what I’ve got here and I’m excited about giving these guys the opportunity they deserve while getting their careers on the right path.”

Starpower Boxing is a Cincinnati-based management company established by Michal Grace in 2013. Grace grew up in English Woods, a tough crime-stricken neighborhood that also produced world champion Adrien Broner, three-time Olympian Rau’shee Warren and unbeaten prospect Brandon Bennett. As a die-hard fan of the sport, Grace became a manager to further indulge his passion for boxing. As CEO of Starpower Boxing, Grace is committed to representing his fighters’ best interests to allow them to maximize their potential both in and out of the ring.

HEATED RIVALS DANNY GARCIA & ZAB JUDAH ARE KEPT APART, BUT BOTH MAKE THE WEIGHT; TENSIONS RISE AT DANNY GARCIA VS. ZAB JUDAH & UNDERCARD FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE AT BARCLAYS CENTER IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Both Garcia (25-0, 16 KO's), the defending WBA Super, WBC and Ring Magazine Super Lightweight World Champion from Philadelphia, and the local favorite, Judah (42-7, 29 KO's), of Brooklyn, participated in the jam-packed media event.  They spoke, answered questions and posed for photos, but not at the same time.
The well-documented friction between the boxers and their camps made for a boxing rarity - a press conference during which the main event fighters and their teams did not sit on the dais simultaneously and were kept completely separated throughout the press conference, not even catching a glimpse of one another.
To watch Garcia, executives and the other fighters, clickhttp://www.ustream.tv/recorded/31946461; for   Judah's turn at the podium, clickhttp://www.ustream.tv/recorded/31949835.
In Saturday's co-feature on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, undefeated WBO Middleweight World Champion Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (28-0, 20 KO's), of Manhattan, will make the first defense of his 160-pound crown against world-rated, hard-hitting Fernando Guerrero (25-1, 19 KO's), of Salisbury, Md.,

DANNY "SWIFT" GARCIA, Unified Super Lightweight World Champion
"I had a tremendous eight-week camp.  I calculated the miles I ran, and you could say I ran to Barclays Center [from Philadelphia] and back.
"I feel tremendous, I'm injury free, I'm solid, I'm confident and I'm really motivated for this fight.  I think I'm the most motivated I've ever been for a fight.  I grew to be a heck of a dangerous fighter, more dangerous than I was before.  I'm just smarter now.  Saturday night, I'm going to be smart.  I'm going to just destroy.
"I don't have to talk, because I know I can fight.  When the people come to watch me, they know they're going to see either one of the best 12 round fights or the best knockout of the year
"You can say what you want to say, but it doesn't matter when you're getting hit.  All that matters is whether you can you take a hit from me or not, or if you can out-think me.  They're playing checkers and I'm playing chess
ZAB JUDAH, Former Two-Time World Champion
"We just left the gym together.  Did I say anything to Danny?  Did Danny and I have any words?  Not one.  Angel was the one that started this.  He's the one that called me all the names and was talking loud and starting trouble like he always does.
"If you go to a Bernard Hopkins fight in Philadelphia, the whole city comes out.  If you go to a fight in Los Angeles for Oscar [De La Hoya], the whole city comes out.
"He's [Danny Garcia] going to sleep. This isn't a game.  Welcome to Brooklyn.  This is my home.
"I'm a person.  I'm a human being.  I have class about myself.  I've changed my life in a drastic, major way.
"Saturday night they're going to feel it.  They can do all they want to do; they're going to feel it.  I'm ready.  It's about Zab Judah and Danny Garcia.
"Angel Garcia made himself a factor.  Danny is so quiet, such a church mouse, that they don't know who he is.
"Saturday night, you're going to see the best Zab Judah.  The guy you all fell in love with and the reason why you all know me is back.  The hand speed, the power, the defense...it's all here and ready to go.
"I don't have any problem with my hands. I bring skills to the table.  Like I tell everybody, it's never been a question 'can he fight?'  The only question everybody has is 'is he in shape?'  When I'm in shape, you've seen the best.  My defense is impeccable.  My hands are super fast.  My power is devastating.  I have one-punch knockout power in either hand.  I have more knockouts than the boy has fights.
"It's a lot to be proud of - 17 years and still strong.  I'm still campaigning at this height and level of boxing.  Watch Saturday night and you're going to see the best.  You're going to think I'm 25 again.  Then what are you going to say?
"Angel Garcia can't get under my skin. I don't worry about him.
ANGEL GARCIA, Danny Garcia's Father/Trainer
"Danny had a great camp.  February 9th, he got a caught with a little injury, but that's in the past.  That's not the future.  The future is that he's ready.  He's ready to go 100 percent, mentally and physically.
"It's not about Brooklyn or Philly, it's about who is the 'King of the East Coast,' and that is going to be Danny.
"He's [Zab Judah] underestimating Danny like everyone else has done.  The truth is that Danny's going to be a champion for a long time.
PETER "KID CHOCOLATE" QUILLIN, WBO Middleweight World Champion
"I'm dedicating this fight to Boston...Boston Strong.
"We have two trained athletes.  We signed up to participate in this, the people that went to run that marathon, didn't want to participate in what happened.  I just want to give them strength through this.
"I want to thank Fernando Guerrero and his team.  I'm happy to see Barry Hunter in his corner so he will be getting the best advice he can.  It's going to be a tremendous fight.
"This fight has many good qualities, Dominican vs. Cuban, but we do it for the whole Latin community coming together.  We both are inspired by two baseball players - Sammy Sosa and Jackie Robinson.  Long hair vs. short hair.  One guy who hungers for a world title and a guy that is hungry to keep his world title.
"This might have been the best camp I have ever had.
"Guerrero is coming with his confidence.  My confidence is there and we're going to make this a tremendous fight."
FERNANDO GUERRERO, Top Middleweight Contender
"I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. I want to thank my opponent, Kid Chocolate.  I think this is the way to promote a real good fight, if you can fight, just fight.  He has character like me.  We don't need to trash talk, we don't need to do anything, it's just a sport that we do.  I want to congratulate him on his title and I want to thank him for being a gentleman.
"A lot of times, people don't understand that we're not animals, we're fighters.  We fight like animals, but we're not.
"On this card, there's a lot of different races.  Everybody's saying I'm going for this race or that race, but there's only one thing that matters, the only race that matters is the human race.  It doesn't matter if you're black, white, Puerto Rican, red or blue.
"I represent whoever wants me, whoever has struggles, whoever wants to be a positive role model
DANNY JACOBS, Top Middleweight Contender
"Not a lot of people stand up for something in boxing anymore.  I want to stand for something.  I want to be the face of boxing, but I want to do it in a positive light.  Not a lot of people do that
"I want to be able to say to (my son) 'You can accomplish anything, but you don't have to go the wrong route.  You can be a positive light, you can be who you are and you can still shine and be the greatest.'  Our kids are the future."
LUIS COLLAZO, Former World Champion
"Finally, I'm back.  I'm excited to be back here in Brooklyn in my hometown.  Come Saturday night, I'm going to do it for me, I'm going to do it for my fans, I'm going to do it for everyone that's been with me since day one.
EDDIE GOMEZ, Top Junior Middleweight Prospect
"We've got a lot of good fighters on the card Saturday night.  Everybody's looking to put on a show.  I'm looking to put on a great show.  I'm ready for this fight.  I'm back at it again."
MARCUS BROWNE, 2012 U.S. Olympian
"Like my last fight on the [Bernard Hopkins vs. Tavoris Cloud] card, I'm ready.  From Staten Island to Brooklyn, I'm ready to put on a show.  I trained hard for this fight.  I'm ready.  I'm going to let my hands do the talking.
ZACHARY OCHOA, Top Junior Welterweight Prospect
"Not a lot of people can say, 'I fought on a SHOWTIME card at Barclays Center.'  That really means a lot to me.
"I've been working hard.  I'm hungry that's why I call myself 'Zungry, 'because I'm hungry to make it to the top.'
OSCAR DE LA HOYA, President of Golden Boy Promotions
"All is great, all is wonderful.  We have a tremendous lineup for Saturday night here at Barclays Center
"Tickets are going really fast.  We're really happy that the response from fans has been tremendous.
On Danny Garcia "Nobody has ever proven him wrong.  People can say this and that, but, until you prove somebody wrong, then there's nothing to say.  That's what he's been doing every single fight.  He's proving everybody wrong.  Because of his work ethic, because he trains hard, he does everything right.  He loves boxing and he's in the gym constantly.  His dedication to boxing is why he's on top."
BERNARD HOPKINS, IBF Light Heavyweight World Champion & President of Golden Boy East
"This is a great facility [Barclays Center] as the writers and everybody who's been here knows.
"I'll tell the young guys 'all of these guys are good fighters, but you have to stand out in today's world to be the best out of the pack.
"I'm looking for a great show.  I thank Stephen Espinoza again for putting on a great event that's going to happen this Saturday.  Everyone in Philly is talking about this fight."
STEPHEN ESPINOZA, Executive Vice President & General Manager, SHOWTIME Sports
"At Showtime, we're now in the midst of a really exciting run of quality fights, perhaps the most exciting, highest quality run of fights maybe in the history of the network.  Last week, we had over 38,000 people in the Alamodome and did the second highest rating for an individual bout in the history of the network according to Nielsen.  This week, we've got another packed card with two 50/50 matchups on the televised portion.
"As a television executive, you're not supposed to have favorite fights, they're sort of like your children, you like them all.  Every fight I schedule, I schedule with the full confidence that it's something that I would want to watch as a fan, I would want to watch as a subscriber and it's something that I'm proud of.  To be honest, there are some fights, some events that have that little extra something, a little extra excitement, the little extra sizzle, and April 27th is one of those."
BARRY BAUM, Senior Vice President & Chief Communications Officer, Barclays Center
"We're really excited for our third night of championship boxing at Barclays Center.  I want to thank everyone at Golden Boy for delivering another great card to Brooklyn.
"It's very exciting to have two major fights here as well as a terrific undercard of a lot of Brooklyn fighters.  I also want to let Golden Boy Promotions know how much we appreciate their commitment to bringing boxing to Brooklyn in such a big way. It's a really a great relationship that we have.  I also want to thank Steven Espinoza and SHOWTIME for all of your support for boxing in Brooklyn and for broadcasting the event on Saturday."
