BANTAMWEIGHT PHENOM RANDY "EL MATADOR" CABALLERO SQUARES OFF AGAINST JESSY CRUZ AS THE CO-MAIN EVENT OF GOLDEN BOY LIVE! SERIES ON TUESDAY, NOV. 26 ON FOX SPORTS 1 AND FOX DEPORTES FROM THE BB&T CENTER IN SUNRISE, FLORIDA

One of Southern California's top fistic attractions, unbeaten bantamweight Randy "El Matador" Caballero, will be heading east on Tuesday, Nov. 26, as he makes his Florida debut against local southpaw, Jessy Cruz of Miami in the 10-round co-main event of FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes' Golden Boy Live! at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla.
Originally scheduled to compete in the co-main event, undefeated Cuban heavyweight star Luis "El Mercedez" Ortiz will now be moved to a later date to be announced.
"This is only my second fight outside of California and I'm looking forward to putting on a great show for the Florida fans on November 26," said Coachella's Caballero.  "This is a big night for me and I can't wait to get into the ring."
"Caballero is a tough kid and I've watched him on the way up," said Cruz.  "But he's not coming into my house and beating me here.  My trainer Herman Caicedo has prepared me well and I will shock the world when we fight."
Twenty-three-year-old Randy "El Matador" Caballero (19-0, 11 KO's) is a top 118-pound prospect on the verge of making noise on the world stage in the coming year.  Showing off new skills in his fight game with each and every fight, Caballero has added knockout power to his resume in his last three fights, knocking out Rigoberto Casillas, Luis Maldonado and Miguel Robles, the latter victory coming by way of a debilitating body shot in the seventh round.
Following an impressive amateur career that saw him make it to the quarterfinals of the 2006 National Golden Gloves and also compete at the 2008 Olympic trials, Miami's Jessy Cruz (10-5-1, 4 KO's) turned pro in 2008 and after a rough start in his first three years, the thirty-year-old has hit his stride, winning six of his last seven bouts, including three in a row.
Tarver vs. Sheppard is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona and O'Reilly Auto Parts.  The BB&T Center doors open at 7:00 p.m. ET and the first bell rings at 8:00 p.m. ET.  The FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes bi-lingual simulcast will air live at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.

ROBINSON "ROBIN HOOD" CASTELLANOS VS. DERRICK WILSON & VICENTE ESCOBEDO VS. FERNANDO CARCAMO TO HEADLINE TELEVISA / FOX DEPORTES DOUBLEHEADER THIS SATURDAY IN MEXICO‏

ROBINSON "ROBIN HOOD" CASTELLANOS VS. DERRICK WILSON TO HEADLINE TELEVISA / FOX DEPORTES DOUBLEHEADER
THIS SATURDAY IN MEXIC
WBC SILVER TITLE BOUT TO BE SUPPORTED BY
THE RETURN OF VICENTE ESCOBEDO VS. FERNANDO CARCAMO
Owner of the most deceptive record in boxing today, Guanajuato's Robinson Castellanos will defend his WBC Silver Featherweight Championship against the United States' Derrick Wilson in the 12-round main event of this Saturday's Televisa/FOX Deportes event at the Oasis Arena in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
In the co-main event, scheduled for 10-rounds in the lightweight division, longtime contender and 2004 United States Olympian Vicente Escobedo squares off against Ciudad Obregon's Fernando Carcamo.
Castellanos vs. Wilson, a 12-round bout for Castellanos' WBC Silver Featherweight Championship, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Cancun Boxing de Pepe Gomez and sponsored by Corona, Periodico QueQui and Quintana Roo Tourism. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. CT and the first fight begins at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Televisa broadcast will air on Canal 5 beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT in Mexico and the FOX Deportes broadcast will air live at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT in the United States.
A quick glance at the 18-9 (11 KO's) record of Guanajuato featherweight Robinson Castellanos, and you may wonder how the 31-year-old has made it to the elite level of the 126-pound weight class. But consider that after an 8-9 start to his career from 2002 to 2010, a string that included four split decision defeats, Castellanos turned everything around, winning 10 straight bouts. Among his victories are eight wins in WBC Silver title fights and an April 2013 victory over former world champion Celestino Caballero.
Another fighter whose skills show more than his won-loss record is Fort Myers, Florida'sDerrick Wilson (10-4-2, 3 KO's), a 24-year-old young man who has been battling it out with fellow prospects for much of his nearly six year pro career. In June, Wilson snapped a two fight losing streak with the biggest win yet, as he handed rising star Braulio Santos his first pro loss. Now it's Wilson's turn to get a big fight in Mexico against Castellanos and he's ready to make the most of this opportunity.
Returning to fight in Mexico for the first time since his third round technical knockout of Carlos Urias in March of 2010, Woodland, California's Vicente Escobedo (26-5, 15 KO's) is looking forward to making a return to the win column after tough defeats against Adrien Broner and Edner Cherry. Still young in the sport at 31, the former U.S. Olympian is hungry for victory and he has the skill and determination to get the job done.
In search of a career-defining win that will extend his current three fight winning streak and put his name on the world boxing map, 22-year-old Fernando Carcamo (13-5, 10 KO's) already made plenty of noise with his second round stoppage of then-unbeaten Fidel Maldonado Jr. in April of 2012. Now he wants to add another notable name to his record in the form of longtime contender Escobedo.

JERMELL "IRON MAN" CHARLO READY FOR ACTION ON GOLDEN BOY LIVE! AGAINST JOSE ANGEL "SILVER BOY" RODRIGUEZ BATTLE AIRS LIVE ON FOX SPORTS 1 AND FOX DEPORTES OCT. 14 FROM THE BB&T CENTER IN SUNRISE, FLORIDA SPECIAL GUEST, FORMER WORLD CHAMPION, ROY JONES, JR. WILL MAKE AN APPEARANCE

Golden Boy Promotions returns to the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida on Monday, Oct.14, for the latest edition of Golden Boy Live! on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes featuring unbeaten junior middleweight Jermell "Iron Man" Charlo against New York City southpaw Jose Angel "Silver Boy" Rodriguez.
The event will also feature a special guest appearance by boxing superstar and former World Champion Roy Jones Jr.
"Rodriguez is a tough veteran who has definitely fought quality opposition," said Charlo. "It's my job to make him look like an amateur and get him out of there. That's what I plan on doing on October 14."
"This is a great opportunity and I thank Golden Boy Promotions and FOX Sports 1 for making this happen," said Rodriguez. "Now it's up to me to get the job done and I'm more confident than ever that my hand will be raised."
"We are very much looking forward to bringing the Golden Boy Live! series to the BB&T Center," said Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. "One of the best parts of consistently hosting this Monday night fight series, is the opportunity to showcase up and coming fighters in different cities so that fight fans across the country have the chance to see great fights live."
Charlo vs. Rodriguez, a 10-round junior middleweight bout, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and sponsored by Corona and O'Reilly Auto Parts. The BB&T Center doors open at 7:00 p.m. ET and the first bell rings at 8:00 p.m. ET. The FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes bi-lingual simulcast will air live at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. Additional televised undercard bouts will be announced shortly.
Houston's Jermell Charlo (21-0, 10 KO's) has stepped up big time in 2013, winning both the WBC Continental Americas and USBA Junior Middleweight Titles with his victories over Harry Joe Yorgey and Demetrius Hopkins, respectively. Now hoping to keep his unbeaten run intact when he battles the upset-minded Rodriguez, the 23-year-old "Iron Man" promises a performance to remember when he competes in front of the nation on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes.
A versatile veteran who has won five of his last six bouts, 34-year-old Jose Angel Rodriguez(17-2-1, 2 KO's) is coming off of back-to-back victories over Russell Jordan and Denis Douglin that have him in fine stead heading into the biggest fight of his career against Charlo on Oct. 14. And given his southpaw style and experience, "Silver Boy" can certainly make it a tough night for the hot prospect in Florida.

SHAWN PORTER VS. JULIO DIAZ II TO HEADLINE "THE ONE: MAYWEATHER VS. CANELO" FIGHT WEEK CARD ON THURSDAY, SEPT. 12 AT MGM GRAND HOTEL & CASINO IN LAS VEGAS LIVE ON FOX SPORTS 2 & FOX DEPORTES

It's boxing's biggest week, an opportunity for the stars of entertainment and sports to descend on Las Vegas for "THE" fight of 2013, the championship showdown between unbeaten icons Floyd "Money" Mayweather
and Canelo Alvarez.  However, before the world turns its eyes to the MGM Grand Garden Arena to watch these two warriors collide Saturday, Sept. 14, Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions kick off festivities two days earlier, on Thursday, Sept. 12, with a special three-and-a-half hour, action-packed broadcast on FOX Sports 2 and FOX Deportes from MGM Grand Las Vegas' Premier Ballroom.
It's the rematch fight fans have demanded, as unbeaten Shawn "Showtime" Porter faces former World Champion Julio "The Kidd" Diaz in the 10-round welterweight bout as the main event of the tripleheader.  The co-featured bout showcases Las Vegas up and comer Badou Jack as he takes on Mexico's Marco Antonio Periban and in the opener boxing's top prospects Julian "J-Rock" Williams faces Hugo "The Boss" Centeno Jr. in a 10-round junior middleweight clash.
Porter vs. Diaz II will take place on Thursday, September 12 at MGM Grand Las Vegas' Premier Ballroom located in the MGM Grand Conference Center on the third level.  The event is presented by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona and O'Reilly Auto Parts.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 6:00 p.m. PT.  The FOX Sports 2/FOX Deportes broadcast airs live at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.
Additionally, with the purchase of a ticket, fans will be given a reserved seat for the "THE ONE: Mayweather vs. Canelo" Official Weigh-In taking place Friday, September 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.  Fans will also receive a 10 percent discount on tickets for closed circuit viewing of the Mayweather vs. Canelo mega-event on Saturday, September 14.
"Two days before boxing's biggest night, this is the kind of event that will get things started off in the right way," said Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe. "There are three exciting and evenly matched fights on this card that will give fans another opportunity to enjoy an exciting night of boxing while they anticipate the outcome of who "The One" will be in Mayweather vs. Canelo."
"This is the perfect way to kick off the festivities for Mayweather vs. Canelo and I know all boxing fans will love this card," said Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions.  "Shawn Porter vs. Julio Diaz is a rematch the fighters and the fans demanded and as good as their first fight was, I think this one will be even better. In addition, we've got Marco Antonio Periban facing Badou Jack in an important super middleweight bout with title implications and there will definitely be fireworks between two of the sport's top prospects, Hugo Centeno Jr. and Julian Williams."
"Getting a full card of quality fights on FOX Sports 2 and FOX Deportes, tapping into the energy being created by the Mayweather vs. Canelo bout later in the week, is a strong offering," said FOX Sports SVP Programming & Research Patrick Crakes.  "We will continue to work with our partners at Golden Boy Promotions to put together packages for fight fans across the country."
"When I was approached with this rematch, there was no question in my mind about taking it," Porter said.  "We had a great fight the first time, but this time around I want a knockout. I'm looking to make a statement on September 12 and I will."
"I think I won the first fight and I'm not the only one who feels that way," Diaz said. "But I give Porter credit for agreeing to this rematch so we can settle things.  He's a good fighter, but on September 12, I'm going to prove that I'm better."
"Marco Antonio Periban is one of the top super middleweights in the world, and I respect him for his accomplishments," said Jack.  "This is the big fight I've wanted though, and I won't let this opportunity pass me by because when I win, I'll be one step closer to becoming a world champion."
"I believe I should be the super middleweight champion right now, but this is boxing," Periban said.  "So to get back to a title fight, I have to make sure I leave no doubts in my fights."  "Badou Jack is a good fighter with a bright future, but he's in my way and I have to remove him on September 12."
"This is the kind of fight that boxing needs, two undefeated fighters putting it all on the line and having the confidence to back up their talent," said Williams.  "Centeno's a tough guy and I know he's going to bring it on September 12, but I have more tools than he does and more ways to win and he's going to find that out once we're in the ring."
"I'm really excited about this fight and this event, because the world is going to be watching," Centeno Jr. said.  "We're both unbeaten and rising up the ladder, and this fight will prove who's going to keep going forward. I expect it to be me."
On December 15, 2012, Akron, Ohio's Shawn "Showtime" Porter (21-0-1, 14 KO's) looked to add the name of former World Champion Julio Diaz (40-8-1, 29 KO's) to his list of accomplishments, but the veteran from Coachella had other plans and the two went to battle for 10 exciting rounds before a draw verdict was rendered.  Since then, the 25-year-old Porter scored a dominant win over previously unbeaten Phil LoGreco and the 33-year-old Diaz gave Amir Khan all he could handle before losing a close decision, setting up the rematch the fighters and the fans wanted.
Coachella's Julio "The Kidd" Diaz (40-8-1, 29 KO's) may have initially made his mark in the lightweight division, where he won the IBF World Championship twice and defeated fighters like Javier Jauregui, Jesus Chavez and Ricky Quiles, but it appears that at welterweight, Diaz is even more dangerous.  After a yearlong layoff, Diaz is winner of two fights by knockout with the only blemishes coming in controversial bouts against Amir Khan and Shawn Porter.  Now, he looks to avenge his draw with Porter by defeating his unbeaten foe on September 12.
A 2008 Olympian for Gambia, Swedish-born Las Vegas resident Badou "The Ripper" Jack(15-0, 10 KO's) has become an international boxing sensation in recent years and the 29-year-old is just approaching his fighting prime.  A pro since 2009, Jack scored a third round knockout over Michael Gbenga on the undercard of his promoter Floyd Mayweather's fight against Robert Guerrero.  After his July 19 victory against Farah Ennis, "The Ripper" is looking for another quick finish on September 12.
Mexico City's Marco Antonio Periban (20-1, 13 KO's) looks to bounce back from his controversial majority decision loss to Sakio Bika in their June battle for the vacant WBC Super Middleweight Title by taking on undefeated young warrior Jack in a 10-round clash at 168 pounds.  The 28-year-old Periban is a crowd-pleasing battler who can do it all in the ring.
Opening the night of fights will be a rare meeting of undefeated top junior middleweight talents is another proud graduate of Philadelphia boxing's School of Hard Knocks, 23-year-old Julian "J-Rock" Williams (13-0-1, 7 KO's).  Having already faced a stellar level of competition thus far in his career, Williams stepped up even more in June when he faced former World Champion Joachim Alcine, dropping him three times en route to a unanimous decision victory.  On September 12, he meets fellow unbeaten Hugo Centeno Jr.
Oxnard, California's Hugo Centeno Jr. (19-0, 10 KO's) has spent time making his name known among 154-rising stars, with the 22-year-old scoring a near shutout of fellow prospect KeAndrae Leatherwood in March.  Now Centeno Jr. has the opportunity to make his record 20-0 when he faces Julian Williams on September 12.
"THE ONE: MAYWEATHER VS. CANELO," a 12-round fight for Canelo's WBC, WBA and Ring Magazine Super Welterweight World Championships and Mayweather's WBA Super Welterweight Super World Championship taking place Saturday, Sept. 14 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, is promoted by Mayweather Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions and Canelo Promotions and sponsored by Corona, O'Reilly Auto Parts, AT&T, Valvoline, Mexico Tourism, Fred Loya Insurance and Nature Nutrition.  In the 12-round co-featured attraction, WBC, WBA Super and Ring Magazine Super Lightweight World Champion Danny Garcia and thunderous puncher WBC Interim Super Lightweight World Champion Lucas Matthysse square off in a fight presented in association with Swift Promotions and Arano Box Promotions.  Also, Ishe Smith vs. Carlos Molina square off in a 12-round battle for Smith's IBF Junior Middleweight World Title which is promoted in association with Warriors Boxing.  The opening bout on SHOWTIME PPV features a 10-round welterweight showdown between Pablo Cesar Cano and Ashley Theophane.  The mega-event will be produced and distributed live by SHOWTIME PPV® beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.  The event can be heard in Spanish using secondary audio programming (SAP).

Golden Boy Promotions Announces Second Boxing Series Event At The BB&T Center Set For Saturday, June 1 Featuring Braulio Santos vs. Derrick Wilson And Daquan Arnett vs. Irving Garcia On FOX Sports Networks, FOX Deportes And FUEL TV Special Guest Appearance by Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns

Golden Boy Promotions and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the second Golden Boy Boxing Series event is set for Saturday, June 1 at the BB&T Center with a world class doubleheader featuring Puerto Rican knockout artist Braulio Santos facing tough prospect Derrick Wilson in a 10-round featherweight main event and a 10-round welterweight co-main event that pits unbeaten Floridian Daquan Arnett against Puerto Rican veteran Irving Garcia which will be televised on FOX Sports Net, FOX Deportes and FUEL TV.

The event will also feature a special guest appearance by former World Champion Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns.
Santos vs. Wilson is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and sponsored by Corona. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first bell rings at 8 p.m.  The FOX Sports Networks and FOX Deportes bi-lingual simulcast will air live at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.  FUEL TV will rebroadcast the fight on Sunday, June 30 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT.
23-year-old featherweight sensation Braulio Santos (10-0, 9 KO's) has drawn comparisons to several Puerto Rican greats from the past thanks to his fast and heavy hands that have seen him knockout nine of his 10 professional opponents with six falling in the first round.  Fresh off of a 57 second knockout over 7-1 Kevin Hoskins in March, Santos will look for another quick finish in his third bout of 2013 on June 1.
A gutsy competitor who always shows up to fight, Fort Myers, Florida's Derrick Wilson (9-4-2, 3 KO's) hopes to snap a two-bout losing streak when he takes on Santos in his home state this June.  Best remembered for his first round knockout over then unbeaten Charles Huerta in 2009, the 24-year-old will look to recapture that form and expects to be at his best with home state fans in his corner against the highly-regarded Santos.
A 2009 Junior Olympic national champion, 20-year-old Daquan Arnett (10-0, 6 KO's) of Winter Park, Fla. has been equally dazzling as a professional with his speed and power leaving opponents searching for answers that never arrive.  In his last two fights, Arnett has tarnished the unbeaten records of Jeremiah Wiggins (TKO 4) and Brandon Quarles (W 8) and he plans on defeating the veteran Garcia on June 1.
Hailing from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Irving Garcia (17-8-3, 8 KO's) is a battle-tested warrior who has traded leather with Ishe Smith, Mike Jones, Luis Abregu and Said Ouali over the course of his nearly 15-year career.  Geared up to show rising star Arnett a thing or two this June, the 34-year-old can inject new life into his career with a win over the highly-touted prospect.

FRANCISCO VARGAS AND JOSE AGUINIGA SET FOR BATTLE ON MAY 3 FOR THE NABF SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE IN THE MAIN EVENT WHEN BOXING RETURNS TO THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS‏

Kicking off the Cinco de Mayo celebration and a weekend of legendary boxing, all eyes will be on the battle waged between unbeaten contenders Francisco Vargas and Jose Aguiniga when they collide at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Friday, May 3 for the vacant NABF Super Featherweight title. On the eve of the world-recognized event Mayweather vs. Guerrero, the 10-round championship bout pitting 2008 Olympian Vargas against 33-0 Aguiniga is destined to shake up the 130-pound division. The event will be televised on FOX Sports Networks, FOX Deportes and FUEL TV. Plus, 2012 United States Olympian Errol Spence Jr. makes his second professional appearance in Las Vegas in a six-round welterweight bout and fellow 2012 United States Olympian Joseph "Jo Jo" Diaz Jr. returns for his second fight at The Cosmopolitan in a six-round junior featherweight tilt.

The exhilarating night of boxing action is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather Promotions and sponsored by Corona. Taking place in The Chelsea, doors open at 6:00 p.m. PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 6:30 p.m. PT. The FOX Sports Networks and FOX Deportes bi-lingual simulcast will air live at 11:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT. FUEL TV will rebroadcast the fight on a date to be announced.

Now fighting out of Los Angeles, 28-year-old Francisco Vargas (15-0-1, 12 KO's) represented his native Mexico in the 2008 Olympics, going 1-1 in the Olympic Games. Since turning pro in 2010, Vargas has built a reputation for having a versatile skill set and ring savvy. Last year, he turned up the heat fighting and winning six times with five of those wins coming by way of knockout. On January 26, Vargas kept his hot streak going with a second- round knockout win over Ira Terry in Las Vegas. He will be back in the boxing capital of the world this May to meet his toughest opponent to date in the unbeaten Aguiniga.

Long established as one of boxing's top rising stars, Oxnard's Jose Aguiniga (33-0, 15 KO's) raced out to a 31-0 professional record and was on the verge of big things before surprisingly walking away from the sport after his 2007 win over Joe Morales. In 2011, there were rumblings of a comeback and in February of 2012, he returned with an eight-round unanimous decision win over Juan Ruiz. Three months later, Aguiniga added a seventh- round technical knockout victory against Eduardo Arcos and on May 3, he will look to return to continue his journey to the top of his division with a win over Vargas.

One of the most promising talents from the Olympic class of 2012, United States team member Errol Spence Jr. (4-0, 3 KO's) has blasted through all of his opponents since turning professional last November, knocking out Jonathan Garcia, Richard Andrews and Nathan Butcher and scoring a shut-out decision win over Luis Torres in his last fight on March 2. On May 3, the DeSoto, Texas prospect will enter the ring looking to impress once again.

Fellow 2012 United States Olympian Joseph "Jo Jo" Diaz Jr. (3-0, 1 KO) has also made a smooth transition to the world of professional boxing, winning all of his bouts since debuting last December with a unanimous decision win over Vicente Alfaro. In February, Diaz scored his first pro knockout at The Cosmopolitan, finishing Jose Ruiz in the second round. Then a month later, on March 16, he returned to the ring and looked strong in a six-round unanimous decision win over Mexico's Alberto Cupido. On May 3 he is sure to wow the crowd at The Cosmopolitan once again.

A co-featured bout and a full undercard will be announced shortly.

FOX SPORTS REACHES MULTI-MEDIA RIGHTS EXTENSION WITH GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS New Agreement Provides Live Boxing for Multiple Domestic & International Outlets, Including FOX Sports 1 & FOX Deportes

FOX Sports and Golden Boy Promotions, founded by 10-time World Champion Oscar De La Hoya, have reached a multi-media rights extension to televise exciting live boxing in the United States and internationally. The new multi-year agreement keeps Golden Boy Promotions' bouts with FOX Sports for years to come, and helps establish a new Monday night boxing franchise on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), FOX Sports' new, national multi-sport cable channel launching on Aug. 17. Financial terms were not disclosed.
"When we started Golden Boy, we made a promise to only do business with the best companies out there," said De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions. "To be partnered with FOX on this sensational series is a great fit. We look forward to working with FOX Sports 1 for years to come in giving fans the best boxing matches available."
"Led by the dynamic Oscar De La Hoya and its Chief Executive Officer
Richard Schaefer, Golden Boy Promotions has developed a great reputation over the last several years for putting together exciting cards with top-flight fighters," said Patrick Crakes, Senior Vice President, Programming & Research, FOX Sports.  "It's great that we've been able to build upon and expand what has already been a fruitful relationship that benefits multiple networks in the FOX Sports family, domestically and internationally."
Under the new agreement FOX Sports retains exclusive domestic rights to 48 live two-hour events (featuring two or three fights per event) annually with many of Golden Boy Promotions' brightest stars expected to be featured. FS1 is scheduling 24 live events per year, with FOX Deportes, the nation's leading Spanish-language sports network, airing all 48 events live, an increase from 36 in the previous deal. The 24 events on FS1 will all originate in the U.S., and most are expected to run on Monday nights once the network launches. FOX Deportes will simulcast the same 24 events as FS1 in Spanish, plus air 24 others that originate from Mexico. Once events air on FS1, each will be available for encore presentations on FOX Sports regional networks. Fox International Channels also holds exclusive rights to all 48 live fights in the Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe (excluding the U.K.) and Middle East territories. Finally, all events will be available via authenticated streaming through FOX Sports Go.

"We are thrilled to partner with FOX as the boxing provider for FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes," added Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. "For years, the best of boxing has been available primarily on premium cable and pay-per-view only, but our partnership with FOX Sports signifies a major step-up in exposure for the fighter, Golden Boy Promotions and the entire sport. We are confident that with our mix of world class fights and fighters combined with the reach and promotional capacities that FOX Sports provides, the sky is really the limit for us all."
In addition to Golden Boy's live events, all FOX Sports channels have access to 24 classic archived events from the promoter's extensive library. Archive fights feature many of boxing biggest names, including De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley.
