DELVIN RODRIGUEZ AND STAR BOXING'S JOE DEGUARDIA PHOTOS AND QUOTES FROM FINAL ORLANDO PRESS CONFERENCE

Two-time world title challenger and top rated junior middleweight Delvin Rodriguez and Star Boxing's Joe DeGuardia attended the Final Press Conference yesterday in Orlando, Florida just two days ahead of Rodriguez's battle with three-division world champion Miguel Cotto set for this Saturday, October 5 at the Amway Center and broadcast Live on HBO®.

Delvin Rodriguez:

"I'm just enjoying every second of this because this is an opportunity that I earned. I got to this opportunity the hard way. After so many years of hard work, one bad decision after the other, tough fights, I'm just thankful to God that I'm here. There was a time when I said forget about boxing, forget this, this isn't for me anymore, but I said I'm not going to throw so many years of my life away after so much hard work. So I'm glad I stuck with it and thanks to God I'm here."

"This is my time, my turn to win. I have enjoyed every second of this promotion. Every fighter has a defining moment in his career. For me, my career takes a big turn for greatness on Saturday night, I will beat Cotto."

Joe DeGuardia, President of Star Boxing:

"Throughout his entire career Delvin has been a warrior, always battling in the ring. Along with the sensational battles with Wolak that everyone knows about, he's also fought numerous times overseas and on the road where he's been the victim of hometown scoring in some very close battles."

"Come Saturday night the fans in this beautiful city of Orlando and those watching on HBO are going to see a tremendous fight. Delvin is in terrific shape and ready for the biggest fight of his career."

The Miguel Cotto/Delvin Rodriguez 12 round super welterweight battle will be seen in over 180 counties across the globe.

Cotto and Rodriguez boast a combined record of 65-10-3 (46 KOs) -- a winning percentage of over 83% and a victory by knockout ratio of 71%.

DYNAMITE DARGAN READY FOR TEST AGAINST GATEKEEPER RAMESIS GIL February 23rd - The Paramount, Huntington, NY

Undefeated Philly lightweight, Karl "Dynamite" Dargan, 11-0, 6 KOs, is set to jump-start his boxing career when he takes on gatekeeper Ramesis Gil, 8-5-5, 5 KOs, in a 6-round bout at The Paramount, in Huntington, NY, on Saturday, February 23rd.  The bout is on the undercard of a big NBC Sports Network Fight Night card that features undefeated heavyweights Czar Glazkov and Malik Scott in its nationally televised 10-round main event.

All eyes have been on Dynamite since his successful amateur days when he was one of the top American boxers on the international scene.  He filled his trophy case with numerous medals and awards throughout those years, and ever since he turned professional in 2007, hopes have remained high for him to ascend to a professional world championship.

Dynamite fought once last year, but since signing with Main Events he is determined to remain active in 2013 and gain significant ground in the world ratings.  First up is Ramesis Gil.

Dominican-born Gil went unbeaten in his first ten pro bouts before becoming the go-to-guy for testing undefeated prospects.  Gil's last eight starts have been against undefeated risers like Jerry Belmontes, Jorge Maysonet Jr. and Darley Perez.  These tough assignments put a few marks on Gil's record, but they also made him an effective gauge of lightweight talent.  He fell to some of them, but managed to defeat Luis Joel Gonzalez, 9-0-1, and Carney Bowman, 16-0, and drew with an 8-0 Jamie Kavanagh.  This makes Gil a live opponent for Dargan, and capable of pulling the upset at any time.

Dargan said, "Fighting on NBC Sports Network is a tremendous opportunity for me. I am ready for Gil. Training camp was great. Now it's time to fight. There's nothing he can throw at me that I won't be ready for."

Dynamite will have to be fully prepared for Gil and on his toes when the bell rings.  If he can pass this test against Gil, then 2013 may just be the year he fights his way into the world rankings and puts his dream of becoming a world champion back on track.

ABOUT FEBRUARY 23 FIGHTS
The February 23rd card is promoted by Main Events, Star Boxing and Goossen Tutor.  The main event featuring Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov vs. Malik Scott, and the co-feature, Chris Algieri vs. Jose "Mangu" Peralta, will be shown live on the NBC Sports Network Fight Night telecast which begins at 10:30 pm ET.

Michael Perez vs Miguel Rodriguez; UNDERCARD ANNOUNCED FOR FRIDAY NIGHT'S PUNCHIN AT THE PARADISE 13 AT THE PARADISE THEATER IN THE BRONX

On Friday August 19, Golden Boy Promotions and Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing are teaming up to present the latest installment of the "Punchin at the Paradise" fight series. The card, which will be broadcast live on TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" will be headlined by Newark's undefeated prospect Michael "The Artist" Perez (13-0-1, 7KO's) taking on Miguel Rodriguez (7-2, 3KO's) in an eight round lightweight match-up.

Fighting in the co-featured bout of the evening will be the Bronx's 18-year-old boxing phenom Eddie Gomez (5-0, 4KO's) who will look to keep his perfect record intact when he takes on, Marcus Hall (5-3-1, 2KO's) in a six round jr. middleweight showdown. For Gomez, a two-time National Jr. Olympic Champion and 2010 New York Golden Gloves Champion, the fight on August 19 will mark the first time he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills as a professional in front of his hometown fans in New York. Gomez has tremendous speed and power in both his hands and proof of that comes in the fact that all four of his knockout victories have come in two rounds or less, including his most recent victory, a first round technical knockout over Jonel Tapia who at the time was 8-1 and 5 KO's.

Also scheduled to see action on the card are two Long Island natives, as former nationally ranked amateur and now undefeated professional, Mike "The Nassau Nightmare" Brooks (4-0, 1 KO) of Oceanside will look to remain unbeaten when he takes on Rochester's Jamell Tyson (2-2-1, 1KO) in a six round lightweight contest. Brooks had a standout amateur career which saw him become STAR BOXINGa two-time Metro Champion as well as a two-time Northeast Regional Champion before turning professional in late 2009.

In a battle of pro-debuting welterweights, Westbury's Rich Neves takes on Newark, New Jersey's Latwon Halsey in bout scheduled for four rounds.

Opening up the professional portion of the card, in another battle of New York vs. New Jersey will be New Jersey's Todd Eriksson squaring off against Queens' Borngod Washington in a four round light heavyweight match-up.

Also scheduled on the show will be two exciting amateur bouts featuring some of New York City's top up-and-coming amateur prospects and champion hopefuls; including New York Golden Gloves Champions Pedro Sosa, Louis Cruz and Wesley Ferrer. Sosa and Cruz, who both hail from the Bronx, are returning to the ring for the first time since competing at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Boxing Trials. Cruz is scheduled to take on New Rochelle's Bryant Cruz in a rematch of their highly entertaining scrap (Bryant Cruz W-3) that opened up Star Boxing's July 15 show at Roseland Ballroom, with Sosa taking on Long Island's Ferrer in the other scheduled match-up.

The night of world-class professional boxing is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Star Boxing and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate, DeWalt Tools and AT&T. Doors open at 6:30pm ET and first fight begins at 7:00pm ET. TeleFutura's "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" will be broadcast at 11:30pm ET / PT (10:30pm CT).

STAR BOXING RETURNS TO THE TROPICANA SATURDAY AUGUST 27TH

(Photo of Shamone Alvarez by; Keisha Morrisey)

On Saturday, August 27th, Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing returns to the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, with an exciting six bout card in the Tropicana's beautiful Ballroom, featuring the always exciting heavyweight fan-favorite, Vinny Maddalone (33-7, 24KO's) and Atlantic City's own, Shamone "The Truth" Alvarez (21-4, 12KO's) in separate bouts.

"We are really looking forward to returning to the Tropicana, and putting together another great night of exciting fights," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing. "The Tropicana has such a great venue for boxing, and the atmosphere in the Casino, especially during the summer-time is just so electric. When you combine that electricity with the fireworks that Vinny and Shamone are sure to produce, you just know you are in for one exciting night of entertainment.

Maddalone, a major attraction on the east coast, due to his never say die, warrior-like style, last fought at the Tropicana in March of last year, when he handed out a vicious beating to Dominque Alexander, dropping his opponent multiple times, before eventually scoring a 5th round TKO. Never in a dull fight, Maddalone has fought some of the top names in the Heavyweight division, including former undisputed heavyweight champion, Evander Holyfield and current top ten contenders, Tomasz Adamek, Dennis Boytsov and Jean-Marc Mormeck. Maddalone is scheduled to square off against Mike Sheppard (19-12-1 9KO's) in a ten round heavyweight showdown.

The former, WBO NABO welterweight champion Alvarez also was in action at the Tropicana at the Star Boxing promoted show in March of last year. In his fight, Alvarez scored a brutal one-punch knockout over Alexis Camacho. Alvarez is set to meet the always tough and game Chris "Kid Kayo" Fernandez (19-13-1, 12KO's) in an eight round welterweight match-up. Fernandez has been in with former world champions, Devon Alexander and Paulie Malignaggi.

RODRIGUEZ TO WOLAK "WE HAVE BUSINESS TO FINISH"

On July 15th, Delvin Rodriguez (pictured right above and below) and Pawel Wolak engaged in a ten round war on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights" that has many boxing insiders calling it the leading candidate for the fight of the year. In an excellent battle of will, determination, and pure guts, Rodriguez and Wolak went toe-to-toe for their entire ten round jr. middleweight showdown before a sold-out crowd on Star Boxing's show at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Wolak started the better of the two, but Rodriguez, who was coming off a year lay-off, picked up the pace in the middle rounds, and landed the much cleaner and harder punches down the stretch of the fight which in turn caused grotesque swelling of Wolak's right eye. In the end, judge Tom Schreck scored the fight 97-93 for Rodriguez, but was overruled by judges Julie Lederman and Steve Weisfield, who both scored the fight 95-95, resulting in a majority draw. The war was an instant classic, so much so that ESPN re-aired the fight the following week, the firstever non-regularly scheduled reair for ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Fans around the world have been clamoring and wondering when the rematch will take place and while Rodriguez, the warrior he is, expected and wanted the fight to take place immediately, Wolak has been singing a different tune.

"I am reading all these different reports that Wolak has signed with a new manager (Wolak dropped long-time manager Ivan Edwards following the fight and signed with Cameron Dunkin), and he is speaking about other fighters and fights, but I really haven't heard him say anything about our rematch. This guy was supposed to be one of the roughest toughest guys in the sport, and we have a fight of the year like we did and it ends in a draw and now he doesn't want to have a rematch? Everyone has been asking when the rematch will take place, but by the looks of it, he doesn't want it. I even read one report that said he ultimately decided to fire his manager because his manager suggested he take the rematch with me and Pawel was "annoyed that he would even bring that up". I had a lot of respect for Pawel before we fought, and him continuing the way he did in our fight with his eye like that I had even more respect for him, not a lot of people would have fought through that. But now, he seems to be avoiding me. If he is the real warrior he says he is, and all about pleasing the fans, then let's make this rematch happen. The other fights can wait, we have business to finish."

RODRIGUEZ-WOLAK EXCLUSIVE HEAD-TO-HEAD INTERVIEW FIGHT THIS FRIDAY AT ROSELAND BALLROOM ON ESPN'S "FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS"

This Friday night, Delvin Rodriguez (25-5-2, 14KO's) and Pawel "Raging Bull" Wolak (29-1, 19KO's) will step into the ring against one another, in their highly anticipated ten round jr. middleweight showdown, promoted by Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing and being broadcast live on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights" from the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. The match-up has the boxing world buzzing in anticipation, as both Rodriguez and Wolak have exciting styles, and as anyone who has seen them before know, they always come to fight and leave everything they have in the ring. Before the two combatants step inside the ring, they both sat down to give their take on the fight.

Q: Thank you guys for sitting down to talk to me before your big showdown. I'll start with you Delvin, how has training camp been for this fight."

DR: Camp has been absolutely great. I can honestly say this is probably the best camp I have ever had. I haven't felt this good in a long time, if ever.

Q: What about for yourself Pawel?

PW: Camp was very good, and very tough, but that's the type of fight this is going to be so I knew I needed a tough camp to get prepared.

(Pawel "Raging Bull" Wolak; photo by Keisha Morrisey)

Q: This will be your first fight at 154 lbs. Delvin. Do you think this is an advantage or disadvantage to you?

DR: I see it as a huge advantage for me. Like I said before this is the best I have felt for as long I can remember. I feel stronger and faster than ever my body is reacting so good from not having to cut the extra weight. I have a lot of boxing inside me and I feel like before my body couldn't react to what my mind wanted it to do. Now there is no hesitation, I do twelve rounds now and it feels like nothing. I'm in the best shape of my life and everyone will see that this Friday night.

Q: Pawel, what is your take on him moving up in weight?

PW: I'd have to agree with Delvin, now that he doesn't have to cut weight I'm sure he will be more physically fit and stronger than before. I'm expecting the best Delvin Rodriguez there is, and that's what I have prepared myself for.

Q: Pawel, you are rated among all four sanctioning bodies, some people question why you would take a fight like this. What are you looking to prove in this fight?

PW: I know Delvin is a dangerous opponent, but this is very important to me to be fighting on ESPN against someone like Delvin. Not only is this a huge test for me, but I know that every time Delvin fights on ESPN he draws huge ratings, so by fighting him I will be seen by a huge audience. I'm looking to expand my fan base, and fighting on ESPN against a fighter like Delvin is perfect opportunity to do that.

Q: You have had some very unfortunate decisions go against you recently Delvin, do you view this as your opportunity to erase those decisions and start off fresh in your new division?

DR: Yes that's exactly how I feel. This is great opportunity for me, I'm stepping up to 154 and in my first fight I have a chance to face a guy like Pawel where a win throws me right into the mix.

Q: You both are known for putting on exciting performances, without giving your game-plans away, how do you see the fight playing out this Friday night and can I get a prediction from both of you on the outcome?

DR: The only prediction I have is that it's going to be a great, and exciting fight. I know it's going to be a tough fight and that's what I have trained for. The way I feel right now and the way I have prepared I am very confident. My boxing ability is going to come out and shine in this fight. I know I must be on my A-game because Pawel is a very tough guy. I can't fall asleep with, must be alert at all times and because of that I honestly feel that he is going to bring the absolute best out in me.

PW:I don't know what's going to happen, ask me after the first or second round I should know better by then, haha. All seriousness though, I expect a hard, tough fight. The pace will be set very early, and we will see how the fight plays out. I expect the best of him and I know I am going to bring my best. Look there are no secrets here, I think most people know my style and they know Delvin's style. They know what I have to do and what Delvin has to do to be victorious in this fight. Whoever can execute and whoever stays most true to their game plan will come out on top.

Q: Is there anything either of you would like to say in closing?

DR: Everyone should expect a great fight this Friday night. Everyone knows that they are getting a great performance in this fight. This fight is very important for both of us, and we are going to put our heart and soul into every round. This is definitely one fight you won't want to miss. I think this is going to be one of best fights on ESPN in a really long-time.

PW: I think Delvin said it all. This is going to be a great fight. This sport is all about entertaining the fans, that's exactly what this fight is going to be. I hope everyone can make it out on Friday night, and if you can't make it to Roseland Ballroom be sure to watch it on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights".

The upcoming show on July 7th, will feature exciting Bronx super featherweight prospect Danny Valle (4-0, 3KO's) and popular Yonkers middleweight/policeman/all-around good guy, Bryant Pappas (12-0, 12KO's).

Valle, a NY Golden Gloves Champion as an amateur, was born into STAR BOXING the sport of boxing. His grandfather was world renowned boxing trainer, Victor Valle Sr., and his father Victor Valle Jr. has trained some of New York's most notable fighters, including former WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev.

The 25-year-old Bronx native Valle turned pro in October of 2009, scoring a 2nd round knockout. In his last bout in March, Valle won a four round unanimous decision on Star Boxing's "March Mayhem" card. Valle is scheduled to meet former amateur rival, and fellow NY Golden Gloves Champion, Angel Torres, in a six round super featherweight showdown. Fighting in Bronx, Pappas will certainly have large contingent of fans and supporters on hand as he looks to keep his undefeated record and knockout streak alive when he takes on Colorado's Allen Medina in a six round middleweight match-up.

In addition to Pappas's and Valle's bouts, the card will also feature two separate exciting professional boxing matches for Bronx bragging rights, as well as four amateur bouts to start the show. The amateur bouts will feature a number of very exciting prospects out of the New York City area.

SIZZLING SUMMER SHOWDOWN-RODRIGUEZ TO TAKE ON WOLAK-IN MUST SEE FIGHT-ON ESPN'S FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS‏

On July 15th, Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing presents a highly anticipated ESPN "Friday Night Fights" card at New York City's famed Roseland Ballroom with a sensational main event, featuring exciting former welterweight world title challenger, Delvin Rodriguez (25-5-2, 14KO's) looking to throw himself into the mix of top jr. middleweight contenders when he takes on top rated, Pawel "Raging Bull" Wolak (29-1, 19KO's) in a can't miss, all-action showdown.

"This fight has all the makings to be a fight of the year candidate," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing, Rodriguez's promoter. "You have two guys who continuously produce fireworks each and every time they step into the ring, going up against one another in what is arguably the most important fight of their respective careers. These are the type of fights that as a true fight fan you just know you can't miss."

"I'm excited to get back into the ring and show that I am a force to be reckoned with in the jr. middleweight division," said Rodriguez. "I have a new team behind me and I feel better than I ever have before. On July 15th, Pawel Wolak and the entire world will see a stronger, faster, and more exciting Delvin Rodriguez."

"I want to thank Delvin Rodriquez for taking the fight," stated Wolak. "It is going to be a hard fight with lots of action. I expect Delvin will give me everything he's got and I will be prepared. The fans will get their money worth like they do with every fight of mine. I am looking forward to continuing towards my goal of winning a world title by end of 2011."

The bout between Rodriguez and Wolak, who is rated as the WBO #3, WBA #6, IBF #8, WBC #11 jr. middleweight in the world, has huge implications for both fighters. Wolak, who is currently riding an eight fight win streak, including his most impressive victory to date in his last bout, when he dominated and made former WBA jr. middleweight champion Yuri Foreman retire on his stool after six rounds, is looking to cash in on his recent success, and earn his shot at a world title. While Rodriguez on the other hand, who has become a fan-favorite, drawing some of the highest ratings on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights" over the years, knows a win over the red-hot Wolak will throw him right into the mix with the top jr. middleweights in the world, and put him back on the path to challenging for another world title.

EMMANUEL GONZALEZ; RISING PUERTO RICAN STAR TO FIGHT ON UNDERCARD OF BORICUA INVASION THIS FRIDAY IN NYC

Star Boxing's hard-hitting, undefeated Puerto Rican prospect, Emmanuel Gonzalez (8-0, 7KO's), coming off a first round TKO on May 5th, will be back in action this Friday night in New York City, two days before the city's famed Puerto Rican Day parade. Gonzalez will return to the scene where he made his pro debut in 2008; Roseland Ballroom; when he fights on the undercard of the Boricua Invasion card, which is being shown live on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights". The card features some of Puerto Rico's most promising up and coming prospects, including Kenny Galarza (14-1, 14KO's), Thomas Dulorme (11-0, 10KO's) and Jose Pedraza (2-0, 2KO's). Gonzalez's bout is presented by DiBella's Entertainment, Gary Shaw Productions, Universal Promotions, in association with Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing.

"Emmanuel is one of the most exciting up and coming stars on our roster," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing, who recently signed Gonzalez to an exclusive promotional contract. "He has loads of talent and ability. We are very high on him, and what we believe he can become in the future. Fighting on this card, which features a number of other top Puerto Rican prospects, on the same weekend of the Puerto Rican Day parade, will give him great exposure to the Puerto Rican fan base that will be coming out to show their support for the show. We plan on keeping Emmanuel very busy for the rest of 2011, and anticipate him making some serious noise in 2012."

The 23-year-old super featherweight Gonzalez, the 2008 NY Golden Gloves 125 lb. open Champion, burst into the professional ranks in December of 2008, scoring a third round TKO over Jean Ramos. Gonzalez made his Star Boxing debut on May 5th at the first "Punchin at the Paradise" show of 2011 in the Bronx, scoring a first round TKO over Jacob Thorton.

Gonzalez is scheduled to take on North Carolina's Jason Rorie. The bout is scheduled for six rounds in the super featherweight division.

STAR BOXING WINS PURSE BID FOR IBF WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP RODRIGUEZ VS. HLATSHWAYO II

Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing won the purse bid for the Vacant IBF Welterweight Championship of the World between Star Boxing's IBF #2 rated Delvin Rodriguez (24-2-2, 14KO) and IBF #3 rated Isaac Hlatshwayo (28-1-1, 10KO). The winning bid was $136,000.00. Star Boxing, who promotes Rodriquez, beat out the bid of Branco Sports Productions, whose bid was $127,500.

Rodriguez and Hlatshwayo are familiar with one another. The two fought back on November 17th, 2008, in Hlatshwayo's home country of South Africa in an official IBF welterweight title eliminator. While the bout was ruled a draw, many who witnessed the fight, including a large majority of the South African press, felt Rodriguez deserved the victory. Now Rodriguez will have a chance to get his revenge and this time with Star winning the bid, the fight will likely take place on U.S. soil.

The fight will be promoted by Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing and should be officially announced shortly.

See you at the Fights.

"SHOWTIME" ADDED TO VIP BOXING CARD

Exciting super middleweight contender, Curtis "Showtime" Stevens (19-2, 14KO) will look to improve to a perfect 3-0 under the Star Boxing banner, when he takes on dangerous Don Mouton (9-3-1, 8KO) on April 28th in an eight round super middleweight contest. Stevens vs. Mouton will be the co-feature bout of the evening for Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing premier installment of its new series "VIP Boxing." The bout will take place at the elegant Russo's On The Bay in Howard Beach, NY, and is headlined by Queens own heavyweight fan favorite Vinny Maddalone (31- 5, 22KO) taking on Benji "Boom Boom" Baker (18-6, 9KO), in a scheduled eight rounder.

STEVENS WITH PROMOTER JOE DEGUARDIA

The 24-year-old Stevens, who hails from Brownsville, NY, was one of the most touted amateur prospects to come out of New York in years when he turned pro back in 2004 at the age of 19. Stevens is a very exciting and aggressive boxer and has tremendous power in both hands, as witnessed by 14 of his 19 wins coming by way of knockout. Since joining the Star roster, Stevens is a perfect 2-0, 2KO's including a 48 second annihilation of Ray Smith in his last fight back in November. A single left hook to the temple from Stevens sent Smith down hard, and then stumbling across the ring upon attempting to get up.

Mounton is by no means a push over. In his last fight he knocked out Olympian Jerson Ravelo in the 8th round. Prior to the fight with Ravelo, Mouton won an easy ten round unanimous decision over Walid Smichet. Smichet is best known for giving undefeated John Duddy worlds of trouble when they squared off back in 2008. Many felt Smichet did more then enough to win the fight, battering and bloodying Duddy for ten action packed rounds. Duddy needed 30 stitches to repair cuts in his face he suffered from the fight, which ultimately ended up costing him a $1.45 million dollar payday against middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik.

"This is one of those fights that as a boxing fan you love to see," stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and President of Star Boxing. "Curtis is one of the biggest punchers in his division, and has produced numerous highlight reel knockouts since entering the professional ranks, including a perfect two for two while fighting for Star (Thomas Reid TKO8, Ray Smith TKO1)."

"Mouton is a tough guy, and he is not going to run from Curtis. He is going to be right there for Curtis to hit and when Curtis hits you, he hurts you. This is going to be an extremely entertaining co-feature bout and we are really excited to see Curtis come out victorious and take another step towards challenging the elite fighters in the super middleweight division."
Russos
The show will kick off at 7PM sharp with an hour long cocktail reception. Immediately following the reception a four course elegant dinner will start being served, at which time the first bout will go on. There will be cocktail service throughout, with an open bar running for the remainder of the evenings fights.

In addition, Star Boxing has teamed up with Bruce Eagel's, Eagel Sports Promotions to showcase some of the most incredible sports and entertainment memorabilia for auction throughout the night. A silent auction will be going on at different tables throughout the arena during the bouts, with the feature items of the evening being auctioned off inside the ring between fights. Proceeds from the auction will benefit local charities.
See you at the Fights.
Thanks for your time.

Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson

If you ask Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson, he would tell you he’d fight anyone that you put in front of him, and he wouldn’t be lying. Since first turning pro on February 13, 2003, the Star Boxing prospect has been telling anyone who would listen he was destined to become the next great heavyweight champion. Now 21 wins later against 0 defeats, Johnson is willing to put everything on the line, including a very good friendship, by challenging fellow American heavyweight hopeful Chris “Nightmare” Arreola (26-0 with 23 KOs). Arreola last fought on November 29th on HBO against Travis Walker (28-2-1, 22KO) stopping Walker in the third round.

Johnson’s promoter, Star Boxing CEO Joe DeGuardia said, “We think that Kevin is the best heavyweight in the world. On the other hand, Chris thinks he is the best and has his people telling him the same thing. Depending on who you talk to in the industry, one person will say Kevin is the best, another will say Chris is. So let’s decide who actually is the best and have these two great heavyweight prospects fight each other, plain and simple,” said “It would be a great fight for the fans, a great fight for the heavyweight division and a great fight for the U.S. The winner clearly cements themselves as THE best American heavyweight… and THE rightful challenger to the heavyweight champions out there.”

See you at the Fights.
Thanks for your time.
